  1. Hi hubbers! I am desperately looking for an extender battery for my wife's Spez Turbo Levo SL. My local Specialized shop can't help me and they don't know when any new ones will arrive in SA. Does anyone know where I can find one? I will also look at a second hand one if someone is willing to sell me one. I'll pay promptly and well! Have a lekker day!

  3. You mean a calibration on the Elite App? I haven't tried that. I'm not in ERG mode - just tried doing a "free ride".
  4. Hi there everyone. With the the surge in Covid-19 I thought it would be a good idea to move my training indoors again. When I fired up my Elite Suito I updated the software and firmware on my Upgrado App and tried to do a chill ride in Innsbruck. However, going uphill or downhill the resistance didn't change AT ALL, and I churned out an even 2.5W/kg or so for an entire hour, with only the speed changing on uphills or downhills. VERY frustrating! Has anyone experienced this that can maybe help me out with a solution? Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. Apologies if I missed it somewhere in the thread, but is it possible to transfer Zwift and/or Strava files (I don't ride and run on Zwift with my Garmin watch) to my Garmin Connect App on my iPhone? I usually use only the desktop version of Garmin Connect for all my stats, but since this is still not working, I have no way of getting all my data in one place. Any help would be appreciated!
  6. I would love to know this too. Especially, say, compared to how many F 750 GS motorbikes BMW sell a year at the same price...
  7. Just some feedback on the Hennops MTB trail for all those in the Gauteng area. I rode this trail for the first time ever on Saturday - what a jol! I did the 36km loop and then added another two sections for a total of just over 50km. The trails are almost exclusively singletrack, beautifully maintained and very well marked - no chance of getting lost. I also saw several other lone MTBers out there and must say I never felt unsafe at all. The trails are non-technical but with about 750m of climbing in the 50km that I rode you can definitely get a proper workout there! I'm definitely going back soon!
  8. That makes it even more strange... The weirdness of the Sky/Ineos marketing machine at work again...
  9. Absolutely phenomenal that after all those fractures and lost blood, he doesn't even have an IV line, neck brace or eina bruises or any monitoring on him whatsoever... Must be how the French do it...
  10. Rode there today... Did the full red route. Such a cool place for riding and training, but someone needs to go in there with a machete and/or a side cutter... Some sections badly overgrown. Hope it gets sorted soon...
  11. I didn't do the event... What did go wrong?
  12. Who is going to do this race? Looks like a lot of (hard, tough) fun! Anyone done it before? How technical is the riding? (Don't want to hurt myself before some big races coming up...)
  13. I did the Marathon yesterday. Lekker route and great organisation by Advendurance, but would LOVE to know what other Hubbers thought about the route.... Difficult? Easy? Technical? Tell all please...
  14. Nice video on Youtube of the Marathon Route. I'm definitely IN!
  15. Congestion is not an issue on this race, as the first half of the route is on the flatter (wider trails too) northern side of Buffelsdrift, and only the last (hilly) half is in the actual bike park itself. By then the field is nicely stretched out and tired (from overcooking the first half!). Enjoy!
  16. Here is my 2014 not-so-standard Stumpy Expert. We've had many many good miles together!
  17. This looks like huge fun! I'm in for the Duathlon!
  18. Hi Hubbers I did the Marathon Stage Race over this past weekend - what a tough two days! Cold, windy, high altitude, but enjoyable as always! I would love to know what you thought of the new route for the Marathon on Day 1?
  19. Looking at the route profiles, it seems the second stage (Sunday's 62km) is actually tougher than the first (Saturday's 70km) stage. Gonna be hard, but lekker!
  20. I wonder how they will control traffic on the second stage with riders going up the pass (at slow speeds) and racing down ( I did 50kph+ in the 2015 race) at the same time...? I can't imagine them closing the pass completely for cars, although that would be the best solution.
  21. My S-Works dream finally came true today... 2018 Specialized S-Works Camber. Her name is Rita Hayworth...
  22. Looking forward to this one... I think... Anyone know if the route will follow last year's general route? Need to plan how much Kenacort to pack...
