I think that lady on the mixed tandem's saddle is definitely too high, and also the "thudbuster" type seatpost doesn't help - or maybe it does? To keep her in rhythm??

Beee, when we get that ladies tandem () we must have Q-rings fitted!!

Eliminator, we ride an XL-M tandem. Beee's road bike is a size small, so the medium at the back is just right for her - so she doesn't knock her knees. The XL at the front however is a bit big for me, my single bike being a medium frame size. We've put on a very short stem though and narrower handlebars. Your tandem is probably too small for your stoker at the back, but best if you ask these technical question to Mdk
