So im really keen to try my hand at a little bit of DH riding, couple questions though 1) I have a fused neck (C5/6) and not particularly keen on breaking my neck, would a leatt brace be the answer ? 2) Im in Benoni, where do i go ride ? 3) Who would be willing to take me out on a loan bike to give it a bash first before i drop cash on it ?

Not from this batch but one of the few 2011 frames that was sitting in Dallas somewhere. (thanks to Gavin for sourcing it) I put the following stuff on it..... Sram carbon crank X9 shifters, XO r/d X9 f/d Sram carbon 9rs brakes Hope pro2 exo Hubs Crest wheels Crankbros pedals It has Geax Seguero front and Crossmarx rea tyres (the lighter ones) KCNC stem and seatpost (I'm 77kg) Rockshock Sid xx fork Specialised carbon flat bars Sella saddle. On the start line it weighs 11.68kg. This bike is absolutely incredible. I was thinking of putting on an RP23 before I rode it but after 2 races I really don't see the point. There is virtually zero bob on the flats and the whole bike just feels so stiff and responsive to pedal input. I'm seriously blown away by this bike. I'm glad there are none available anymore cos otherwise more of you okes would be faster.

I've always eaten with hot water, was pointed out to me today that box clearly says 'don't use hot/boiling water' destroys some nutrients or something

Guys get some dental floss and a needle, sew the cut closed. Done it plenty and works like a bomb, if wanna be sure stick a tube patch to inside of the tyre wall but I've never had to do that. In fact I carry a needle and dental floss in my kit on my bike

Anybody know if a 2006 gary fisher super calibre used the G2 fork ? What models use a G2 fork ?
