Ive always liked the Salsa brand, i think originally cause they had cool names for there bikes. Then i found an article on the spearfish where it was voted best bike at interbike last year by 29 inches, and seen as though im a 29inch fan and was looking for a duallie to with the Chumba HT i got hold of a mate of mine in the states who owns a bike shop that only sells 29inch bikes and he hooked me up with a frame, had to wait about 3 months for it as these frames are like hens teeth and mostly presold. The price was also a deciding factor at only $999 for the frame

Is it me or is there a new bike brand popping up everyweek nowdays ? Paging through the first TREAD mag i have received this year after many emails i just noticed 2 new brands i havent seen here yet Full Dynamix and one about spying a fly or something like that ? Dont get me wrong i have no problem with it, its the whole reason i started CHUMBA was to give consumer choice. They all seem to be Carbon 29er HT frames, so how many of them are just rebranded catalogue bikes ? And how long till the market is flooded ? Disclaimer I have a CHUMBA and i own a New Salsa and i long to own many other brands aswell
