Well I think I am going to stop stressing now. Looking forward to doing my first Hill2Hill.

I know you can't ever do a true comparison, but I was wondering which race, Hill2Hill or Comrades, people find more physically taxing on the body and mind. It will be interesting to hear from those who have completed both! My wife has done the Comrades but says I'm nuts because I'm doing Hill2Hill.

I have to agree with Trackie. I paid for my Rydons on Friday and received them this morning in PMB at 10am. FANTASTIC SERVICE. Can you imagine if all companies could provide such great service! Thanx to everyone at ASG

No defenitely not! I use the slicks for Amashovashova race from PMB to Durbs and for training every now and then when i cant get onto the dirt. I prefer to use a slick for tar and a proper dirt tyre while off road, a compromise for both is never ideal, IMO. Doesnt take long to change over. Maybe look at getting yourself another set of rims.

I think it is better to change the tubes. It makes life easier. I use a Kenda Slick with 26x1.25 tubes.

I think the problem is with the distributors of the mags and not the PO or Tread themselves. It's a great pitty because it is a fantastic mag Tread was very helpful when I didn't receive the last issue. If I dont receive this issue in the next 2 days, i will have to contact them again.

I have just bought a Ghost AMR7500 after having had a Scott (Nothing wrong with a Scott) What a fantastic bike! You won't go wrong if you buy one! It looks beautiful and rides well. The manufacturing quality of the bike is top class... wouldn't expect any thing less from the Germans! I received brilliant service from Eben at Westrand Cycles. He personally dilivered it to my door as he was passing to the coast for a holiday.

What this all boils down to is buy what you are happy spending your money on, not what other people tell you to buy. I've just bought a Ghost 26er and LOVING IT!!!! Different strokes for different folks!
