The area between the yellow line and the edge of tar is a designated emergency lane. Legally we are not allowed there either. We do ride there though as it is more safe to do so.

They are opportunists....... They were even seen in the suikerbosrand traversing through Krugersdorp all the way to Heidelberg. Many cats, dogs, dassies and others to prey on. Same goes for Brown Heyena. Same in Pretoria with Magalliesberg and other ridges from east to west through the city. A leopard was struck recently by a car in the poort opposite CBC near the N1 N4 crossing.

We cry in unison when a cyclist dies but then climb on our bikes and stuff around again and again and again untill the next one does someting wrong to a cyclist. We then cry, tear our clothes and throw ash on our heads .......... but we never learn....... .......we are so friggen stupid.
