My view (as i mentioned before) they did crap analysis and now they pay too much for coffee and watches so now they thin the herd by removing strava which is free all you need is a cheapo HR belt. So whola 85% less coffees on a wednesday and 90% of the customers start paying for their watches them selves. Stop thinking as the customer here and think what would you have done if it was your business.

i think this is their plan. Its an easy "get out of jail free card" for them. They say strava is inaccurate and people use it with their "dogs" what a load of crap. I think its because they are spending millions on coffee and apple watches which they didn't expect. I would guess some analysts got fired big time over there because they didn't realize how many people were already "active" according to their calculations, Even listening to the interview on cape talk, they had a tannie on there talk about the health side and she didn't actually say anything about their vigirous goals. I bet you they paid for that airtime and its someone they are fimiliar with that was the tannie talking about the health side. In the end of the day disco is a business and they are all about making money. Let the apple watch be a lesson (to me too because i got one for my wife), school fees, if it is too good to be true it probably is. Who would "give" away a 5k watch?

and it looks like they told their social media team to not respond to any queries. They still responded yesterday but as of today, nothing.

just mentioned on mybroadband as well, had it a few times but i just ext and open the netflix app on PS3 then it works.

The reason they cutting strava is because people (apparently) uploading manual entries. eg. they said they went for a ride and this was their stats without any proof. The interface to discovery unfortunately does not specify whether an entry is manual or from device so discovery dont know if you actually did it or not. And a big guy like strava is not going to listen to a small guy like disco and sommer spend money and change their API just for them.

Dont watch me rather give me a push when you pass me on a hill. And not like the CL guys and push my off the road rather a push up the hill.

It seems that the guys working at disco dont care.

ja basically if you dont have a polar or garmin you have to jump through hoops to get your data into discovery. Maybe it is a good excuse to buy a garmin.

Why dont these people rather sort out their current app that does not work before trying to screw everyone out of their weekly points.

ja got my strava to sync to garmin, but the stupid discovery app does not want to link to my garmin account now.

So me that uses a bryton device are screwed because they dont support bryton nor strava anymore.
