  1. Shame she wasn't in good shape, I hope she is ok and recovers quickly. Not cool seeing a fellow cyclist down and out for so long
  2. PM sent, thanks!!
  3. Thanks for all the comments guys. I am leaning towards the Scott, but like some of you have suggested, I will go ride both and see which one feels the best. Thanks again!!
  4. Cajees have said they can do the Addict R2 for R21k because they are clearing out to make space for the 2012 range. It is a damn good price and great value for money.
  5. Thanks for all the comments so far!!
  6. They are both around the R21k mark.
  7. Hi Fellow Hubbers, I am looking at upgrading to a new bike and I am quite interested in the 2011 Scott Addict R2 and the 2011 Felt F4, reason being that I believe both bikes are good value for money, so I am looking for any advice / opinions from anyone on these bikes. Both bikes are quite similar in specs. Both are kitted with full Ultegra 6700, the only differences that stand out to me are as follows: 1) Wheelsets: the Scott comes with Ksyrium Elites and the Felt comes with Ksyrium Equipe. 2) Frame: The Felt frame has the BB30 shell. 3) Weight: The Scott (7.19kg) is slightly lighter than the Felt (7.27kg). 4) Frame Warranty: The Scott has a 5 year warranty and the Felt has a lifetime warranty. Links to both the bikes are below: http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/product/10049/55720/218088 http://2011.feltracing.com/South-Africa/2011/Road/F-Series/F4.aspx Any advice / opinions will be appreciated. Thanks
  8. Will do. Thanks
  9. Hi Hubbers, Does anyone know of any intermediate to fast roadie group rides in the Benoni area that leave at about 4:30? Thanks
  10. It is open from 5pm - 7pm every Monday to Thursday subject to weather conditions and also depends if there are any events taking place. Call 011 466 2800 and ask to be added to their mailing list.
  11. Thanks for all the feedback chaps!! Much appreciated. Next time I will keep it simple Tankman
  12. Will the crank be ok with a 10spd chain?
  13. Thanks Tankman! Yes it's a 10spd cassette. Sorry, was my wording that bad? :-(
  14. You should have a look at Endomondo (www.endomondo.com), it's also quite a cool app.
  15. Hi All, I have a Scott Speedster S30 2011 model (18 speed). It currently has the following components (Full specs at http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/product/10052/55735/218119): 1) 2011 Tiagra ST-4500 Shifters 2) 2011 Shimano 105 RD-5700 Rear Derailleur 3) 2011 Shimano Tiagra FD-4500 Front Derailleur 4) Truvativ TOURO C 2.1 50 x 34 Crankset 5) Sram PG-950 (11-28T) Cassette I have just purchased a new set of wheels which included a 11-25 Ultegra Cassette. I also want to upgrade my shifters. My question is, can I upgrade to the new 10 speed 105 ST-5700 shifters (with internal cable routing) using the Ultegra cassette and current RD, FD and crankset? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!!
