  1. I filled out the reseeding form and sent in all my results from SA Seeding. They moved me to the A2 batch.
  2. I don't think they want to hold an expo for that long though. If they had to do it like this they would've started today and only finish next week Saturday. And I bet booking the entire dome for three days does not come cheap. I am happy with it like this. Imagine you are only doing the MTB and you have to go and queue with 30,000+ roadies to get a number board and a water bottle. Imagine the frustrations that will bring.
  3. Well they didn't really advertise it as a MTB Expo did they? I was expecting a plain old boring number pickup
  4. So it seems like Max has gone back to Ghost after his announcement a few weeks ago that he is going to focus on Cross Country for the 2014 season. I find it very interesting that he is leaving Specialized, or was it more a case of Specialized letting him go? https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.770555482971683.1073741853.316003618426874&type=3
  5. Thanks I know exactly where that is... pretty close to the office
  6. Im sure there will be signs up but I am going to head towards the R55 and Maxwell drive interchange and try and find it from there.
  7. I run there at least once a week. What time did they strike?
  8. bliksem this is bad. Where exactly did it happen?
  9. Ek sal ook graag wil weet. Ek het my Trek Superfly by hulle gekoop en dit was nog net smiles van daar af... ek het hom wel nie by hulle gediens nie...
  10. Thanks. It was flat out all the way
  11. Here is mine from my bryton on the marathon
  12. You can get it here - http://www.cyclechallengeregistrations.com/2013/MTB/index.htm
  13. As far as I know the general rule is a max difference of 14T between rings, so dont think its a good idea
  14. nope late entries needs to be done on Friday at Concept Cyclery
  15. 10 minute intervals between batches, so B will be 7h10, C 7h20 etc.
  16. Just got my seeding. B in the Marathon
  17. hahaha I wish...
  18. Very true. I was just giving a bit of background as to why a major retailer would always be cheaper than an event t shirt. I was not protecting the R285 price tag. I also think that is very expensive if it is a plain T-shirt with basic printing...
  19. Generally the more shirts you print the cheaper it becomes. The problem they sit with is that they have to provide a price otherwise no one will order one. Woolworths produces say 10,000 shirts and they have standing contracts with providers in order to get the best deal. These guys probably are only going to produce lets say 5% of that without any contracts in place so they pay more for the 'blank' t-shirt than woolies does. Then they have to split the design cost between 500 shirts and not 10000 which increases your per unit cost. Its up to each individual to decide if R285 is to much or not, but they are caught between a rock and a hard place...
  20. Forgot to fix that...
  21. Thanks for letting us know. Keep us up to date please with any developments
  22. well they most likely already know where the cut off points are for the batches, so they might just post that on here? Number pickup starts tomorrow, so seeding should already have been done?
  23. I think they have enough issues with the payment system keeping them busy...
