  1. Max is an awesome rider, but I think he got a serious reality check riding the Trans Alps with Suzi... I think he only just realised how good Burry really was

  11. From their sale flyer I can see where the mistake crept in... might be that the email did not display correctly in your browser?
  12. Interested as well. depending on the model and price...
  13. The new woman specific stuff from the bigger guys is worth it. On my wifes first bike(Mens small) I had to spend quite a bit of money getting her comfortable on the bike. With the Giant Anthem XW the geometry is perfect. I agree with you that a year or two ago, the woman specific bikes was just a pretty paint job with crappy components, but if you look at what Giant is doing with the Liv programme, woman specific design is starting to make a bit of sense. The new woman specific spez bikes also looks awesome!!!
  14. I saw some of them at cyclelab centurion last week, and bought one for my wife from the sports basement 2 weeks ago, so you still get them
  15. The profile design cage is not the prettiest, but it is the only one that has worked for me. It has an elastic band around the outside witch helps a lot. I have tried 5 other cages and all of them lost bottels. http://www.excelsports.com/image/Profile%20Design%20Kage%20Bottle%20Cage.jpg
  16. I also looked at the Spez rumour. Very nice option, but I think it will be a bit more than the 20k he is looking to spend
  17. She is about the same length as your wife, so should not be a problem. Finding a small frame though is a problem. I phoned about 20 shops around the country and eventually found one at Cycle Sphere in Durban, which I had couriered up to Pretoria
  18. I recently bought my wife the Giant Anthem XW 29er, and she is absolutely loving it... Got it for R21k http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-za/bikes/model/anthem.x.29er.0.w/12779/59421/#specifications
  19. My SRAM cranks came out with 26/39 and it works perfectly.
  20. Go have your sit bones measured. It might be that the sella italia is to narrow for you which will cuase the uncomfort. Saddles are a very personal choice!!!
  21. I like making a noise when I am on the trails!!! cant wait for those hubs
  22. So I pulled the trigger on the ZTR's on CWC...
  23. not sure. CWC's website just states Phill Wood Black Spokes I just want to know how difficult it will be to replace if I have issues
  24. Does anyone have any experience with the Phil Wood spokes CWC uses in their special?
  25. haha, ya I've heard they are very soft. Think I will give them a skip then
