That was a proper mountain bike ride think I may need to ride the bike before next year but enjoyed it, monster climb was not as bad as I was expecting

managed 4 bottles of wine this weekend, traning sorted.....

I am doing hill repeats at groenkloef on sunday, up the onion twice should do the trick

got up with my 36 x 22, darn tough I tell you and the rock garden is hectic, can't see the monster being tougher than 2 laps of the barn...

that hill at red barn is huge! managed to ride it all the way to the top on 1 lap

I saw far less people this year than last year, I wonder if the total cost of the weekend is what kept them away. Loved the first climb, hated the last climb and was fun to do that decent again this year,

For 26 inch cut a 24 inch tube down the center, (butterfly it so to speak), use that as your tape and valve. Once the tire is inflated cut the excess tube off with a Stanley knife. For 29er use a 26 inch tube. Easy cheap and no k@k with valves. Tube and valve cost R50 per wheel.
