  12. you can thank your lucky stars that they did not find out about this, they would have demanded to share the hot tub with you
  13. Bhahahahaha! Well said
  14. I think you are missing the point of this rant? The rant is not about the entry fee of the race, it is about the principle that CSA already charge us for licencesso why do they need to charge us an additional levy at races? And if I am not mistaken they charge the race organisers as well?
  15. agreed, with all the components they left out one would expect it to way lighter
  16. OK maybe I am just a tjop, but seriously WTF CSA? Have a look at the email that i received below. Is it not enough that we have to pay for licenses (to which we cannot see the benefit), do you seriously need to enforce an additional levy on races as well? It’s not about the R6 because I can’t care less about it, it is about principle. Think about it, R6 for each rider (assuming 30 000) sends R180 000 into their pockets, FOR 1 RACE! Tell me again where is my benefit? This levy might have been going for years, I don’t know. This is not the question. I just think it is BS! Come now CSA, since you are at it, why don’t you just go ahead and charge a levy when we walk into an LBS or look at the cherries at the support stands at races as well! 17. short answer, yes the right wheels makes a massive difference
  18. I think uphills will be a walk in the park
  19. I disagree. I ride with mine on the "loosest" setting and they never unclip, not when I fly over technical rock gardens or when I do jumps, never. They only unclip when I turn my feet and that does not happen by accident whilst I am riding. I ride with mine as loose as possible for the added play. Some people prefer les play and therefore tighten them. They are made to only unclip with certain movements, and tightening/loosening should not play a role in the way that they unclip. Sure, they will unclip easier on a loose setting if you are prone to twisting your feet into unnatural positions whilst riding. This is human error though and not a pedal fault.
  20. Remember red is always fastest! Erm, maybe not?
  21. that is where you want them, or at least for now
  22. looking at the components I guess the price will not fall within my budget Then again, same goes for a Makro bike
  23. It is just not the same without pedals!
  24. My probleem is daar is te veel bikes wat ek wil moet hê! Single Speed, Trail Bike, XC Race Bike, ens ens ens
