    I have Sram red and fitted a Sram Rival left crank arm without any issues. The left crank arm will be slightly heavier than the original but who really cares.

    I really enjoyed the race - would have been great though if they could find a few early hills to break up the bunches a bit. As BigT4 said I rode in CL and we had a massive group all the way until Hekpoort. I suppose I could have tried an attack but after reading all of the scare talk about Vrek-Poort I was keeping as much as possible in the tank. Just missed sub 3 by a few seconds - better try harder next year.

    Will ride with a few mates and see how it goes, based on the system there should be a few stronger guys around in the lower groups

    Riding the race with Ferret69, he will be the one pushing me up the climbs

    Had an interesting day out - managed to snap my valve off after getting a puncture so used my tube. Then proceeded to get a slow puncture a few kms later. Big thanks to everyone who gave me bombs every few kays, Mtbers are absolute legends.
