I had a problem with my Trek frame and it needed to be replaced under warantee, i took the bike in on Thurdsday morning Trek where there in the afternoon and i got a new frame and had my bike back on Friday afternoon. i would try the gel 1st just use some hair gel im sure u must have some of that at home.

i use gel on my heart rate strap that way i know that it doesnt get dry between the strap and my chest, i never have problems with my heart rate reading like tht while my friend who likes to use spit often has poor reading. The gel i use is a soothing gel that i got from my LBS its blue.

I have just gotten a new frame on a warrantee claim and the headset is pretty tight. How tight should it be if it has new bearings and if it is too tight how do you set it? is there an order as to what parts get tightened first? Also how do you know when its tight enough or if its too loose? Thanks
