  1. Nothing official that I know of, buuut, if you can get permission to ride through ozabeni I'd recommend it. Drove through there a few years back and it is awesome. To get there leave Sodwana, hook left after Mbazwana as if you're going back to hluhluwe and ozabeni comes up on your left. The track through ozabeni ends up back at Sodwana Campsite-E section
  2. I commute along the spruit 3 or 4 days a week. I ride from Melville to Peter Place. Fortunately for me the dodgy part of the spruit is mostly between the pick n pay and sunninghill which I avoid. I've never been the victim of any violence and I'm always cautious and keeping an eye out for suspicious people. Being able to ride the spruit instead of sitting in traffic is awesome!
  3. This won't last long. 5 minutes max!
  4. Believe me you wouldn't have wanted to see the pic
  5. I've seen some interesting things in traffic during commuting. This morning there was a guy driving a Figo down Jan Smuts Avenue whilst reading a Spider-Man comic. A week or two back I saw a woman driving in her bra putting her blouse on
  6. I live in melville, and work in Bryanston (50 meters from the Spruit ). It's 15km each way, basically all downhill in the mornings and 300m climbing in the afternoon. The only time I'm on the road is going down beyers naude. I think I'm really lucky with my home and work locations. I basically get to mountain bike every day! I
  7. Well that's all fine and dandy but you still have to live in Louis Trichardt. Good luck with that
  8. Thank you to the four fellow riders on the spruit today who helped me after I hit a rock and went arse over tit Thank you for putting my chain back on the rings and waiting until I was good enough to carry on riding I'm sorry for the stupid noises I was making when I was winded. I tried to apologise for the stupid noises but only more stupid noises came out To those four guys I hope you have an awesome weekend!!
  9. These are my two. Coffee (left) and Jagger (right)
  10. I'm looking for some advice from the German Sheperd and Rottweiler owners please. I've got 1 cat and two little dogs but need to get a bigger watch dog for security, which will be better the GS or Rotty? It would have to be good with children and the other animals, can anyone make some recommendations?
  11. Nice bike? All out adventures?
  12. My bad
  13. Here's my boy
  14. Here's my boy
  15. I'll sign it. The difficult social inequality argument is there. But that doesn't excuse the filth that these squatters are leaving behind. I ride to be in the outdoors, not to dodge piles of plastic milk cartons and bunny hop man turds!
  16. My personal favourite is a meduim gaint, lysdexic much?
  17. I think I had one too, was it a Raleigh Bomber ATB? Don't remember the wheel size though
  18. Egg rolls over in bed, lights his smoke, rolls over to chicken and whispers in her ear " does that answer your question?"
  19. You can ride from Ozabeni to the Sodwana Camp Ozabeni is part of Ezemvelo KZN and sits directly adjacent and inland to Sodwana, I drove through there a few years ago-really awesome landscape-flat with little forested dune koppies and zebra and such game roaming around. You'll be riding on jeep track and will have to do a few river crossings. I would recommend pairing up-security could be an issue. The Ozabeni turnoff is on the right a few kilometers before Mbazwana coming from HluHluwe Enjoy
