  1. Great site. Looking forward to spending more time perusing the pages
  2. I am also considering getting the 35 although I see that they now sell the 20 also. Will watching this topic with interest.
  3. Nikon or Canon are the way to go if you are looking for a good SLR. As mentioned in many of the other posts, the glass in front of the camera is really important. You can look at www.dpreview.com for comparisons on the different brands and ranges.
  4. If you are looking for something that will work in the gym and on the bike then you should look at the multi-sport polar watches. The products you should probably look at are the CS300, RS800CX or RCX5. The RCX5 is the newest in the range but probably also the most expensive. As far a I know, the RS800 can be bought as a bundle with the speed and cadence sensors. GPS is an optional extra. Just be aware that the speed and cadence sensors batteries cannot be changed DIY but have to be sent into polar. A real pain if you ask me and one of the reasons I haven't upgraded to the full polar bike setup. An alternative is to get a more basic polar (with download capability eg RS400) for the heart rate function and then get something like a Garmin or Bryton for your cycling information.
  5. Great Link! Thanks!
  6. Will be riding it again after several years of not riding. Really looking forward to it. Hoping to get a sub 4 for the race.

  8. Somehow managed to maintain even through all the many eating sessions.
  9. Very sad news. Our thoughts are with their family and friends.
  10. I would say go for the upgrade. I upgraded about 5 years ago from an old Alpina to an Orbea (steel to aluminium + better components) and I definitely felt a big improvement. Will be upgrading to a carbon frame with Ultegra or DA components next year and I expect a similar result.
  11. I have to agree with some of the earlier posts. Getting the longer crank will make a difference but it is going to be small.
