  1. I wanted a bike rack that matched the width of the Jimny. The Thule bike racks keep the front wheel on which makes the bike protrude on either side of the vehicle. I also don't need a two to three bike rack, just a single bike. Plus the crazy prices that they ask for their products. So I decided to make my own. I bought the seat post clamp from Thule as well as the rubber strap that holds the rear wheel in place. The front wheel from my Scott Spark bolts to the spare wheel of the Jimny, saving space. On a trip to the berg this week, there was no noticeable increase in fuel consumption with the bike on the rear of the vehicle.
  2. Is it a carbon or aluminium frame?
  3. 2013 cycling trip from Prince Albert to the top of the Swartberg Pass and back. 2.5 hours to the top and 30 minutes coming down. Momsen hardtail.
  4. I am surprised how many Cambers are out there! Thought it would be an EPIC dominated post.
  5. What difference did the carbon rims make to the feel of the bike? How much were the rims?

  7. Charlotte Speedway motor fair in 2011.

  11. Get a group of riders to go out armed with a firearm. When they get approached, fire a few rounds off at their feet to make them dance. Will freak them out for a while. We need to fight fire with fire.
  12. Grab is not 1.5 hours from CT! Max an hour.
  13. I spoke to a trauma doctor during my day to day travels around the Eastern Cape hospitals. He did not recommend a cortisone injection into the tendon. It will help but can lead to imbrittlement of the tendon later in life. He speaks from experience as his brother had this happen. He said either take cortisone orally or via an injection in the butt! Lots of rest too and a brace to spread the load during day to day movements. The reason we struggle to get rid of the tennis elbow is it is difficult to rest your right hand as we use it for so many things on a daily basis. http://well.blogs.ny...ype=blogs&_r=1
  14. I think I will just take some out as its quicker to get the answer I want that way! Was just wondering how little one can use to reduce the rotational mass.
