ok... so i basically just took a knife and cut the soft part off. the problem is.. there's like 2 metal rings (part of the grip) attached to the bar which wont budge.

i am having trouble removing the handlebar grips of my GT mountain bike. does anyone have experience in this? willing to help?

unfortunately i have a similar bike to the "dude"... does anybody know how to remove those handlebar grips?
