Mine is a 9 speed

I want to upgrade my groupset but don't have enough to do it all at once. So I would be doing it piece by piece, But what I am not sure of is if the new parts will work with my current groupset. Currently I've got Shimano Acera. First thing I would like to get is Shimano M770 xt 9spd rapidfire shifters. Would it work? All Inputs would be appreciated.

But returning that night it would be mainly uphill...

Was a great race. Will definitely go ride their more often now that I know what route to take. Great work Rinus

40km race is gonna have a couple of climbs the first ones are gonna be bit rocky and fairly technical but the rest is gonna be fun, fast paced with some single track. Other lekker part is the 40k is a completely different route from the 20km so no laps and there shouldn't be alot of congestion.

There shouldnt be too much of a bottleneck as the 20km and 40km are 2 different routes

Cramps are not cool, had a nasty one at emperors in my left calf on saturday.

Balls to the wall. Push yourself at the uphills till you wanne puke. I'm doing the 40km Krugersdorp race this weekend don't know what to expect there.
