  1. Sorry I don't have a number, haven't tried to phone them yet.
  2. Dont think its the Lion and Rhino park. It says Krugersdorp game reserve. I dont know if they do the half price thing. you can check on this site http://www.passport2adventure.co.za/KGR.html
  3. GPS Co-Ords: S26 06 24.5 E27 43 27.2
  4. well I did 24km this past weekend without going on the same route. I think you can get a good 30km's and then start looping if you want. It is quite confusing the first time you go as you are not sure which route you can take, but once your on the route its quite simple to follow. The map they give you at the entrance shows all routes available for cycling
  5. Its really worth the 30bucs. But if you want to see lots of wild go early morning
  6. really awesome place to ride. You can get some leke distance, its safe and the scenery is just amazing
  7. Yes thats the one
  8. I'm kinda happy with the numbers of entries in most races at the moment. MTB is much different than road ie you don't have single track on road. Don't let race numbers bother you just go out enjoy the event and make the best of it.
  9. wow gummibear were did you snap that lion?
  10. here's some pics taken this weekend at KDP
  11. What kind of sick satisfaction do these people get by doing stuff like that?
  12. I sure will.Watch this space for some epic photos in the very near future
  13. The purpose of it is not just to point and shoot. I would like to get distant aswell as close up photos. Get very high close up pics making use of filters, and get to learn and use the many features the cam has to offer. So no the cam would not be used on Auto. My wife would also be using the cam and she has played around on dslr's before and has a better knowledge of it. She would be taking the pics of me when in a race for example
  14. I think that way there will be alot more entries. As you can stretch your rand further and do more races
  15. Ya Photography lately isn't just about "mik en druk" anymore its amazing all the functionality it has. Setting up a Camera is more difficult lately than installing a new Groupset
  16. sho that is quite heavy, especially when cycling with it on your back.
  17. Thanx for the advise. Lenses can get quite costly I've seen. I know the 18-55 and 75-300 lens you get with the package is not the best but its good to start off with. But I think at the end of the day I will be going with the Canon as it for me is a bit lighter and feels more comfortable
  18. Hi I am looking for some advise please. want to buy a cam and have narrowed it down to these 2. As this is all my budget allows at the moment. 1) Nikon D3100 2) Canon 1100D. Both have +- the same specs. I would really appreciate your comments. Tx
  19. that is true. I know one of the event organizers and will have a chat with him today to find out if he can't arrange something for us
  20. Race prices are getting prety steep everywhere lately. Not much we can do about that
  21. Went there on Saturday. must say was a real awesome 25km. had some hectic climbs but overall a good ride. Also the view was something else. Think the race they have there on the 11th of Feb is gonna be real good.
  22. I take my hat off to you MTB Tandem is not easy
  23. That's horrible. We learn to appreciate life and our families so much more when seeing/hearing about that. Just feel very sorry for the family that just lost a son. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children, but we live in a cruel world and things like that happen. So I ask all the hubbers If you have kids give them a big hug and kiss when you get home and tell them how much you love them as you never know when its your last. My deepest condolences to the Family. RIP fellow cycle brother
  24. Ya and when your done you can go mess around on the BMX track.
