It was a great event..very slippery on day 1..i had a bad fall on the dirt road about 1km from the end, buggered my back. still managed a finsh but rode gently for the rest. Will definitely do it again

i had a great time, only did the ride part as a team..i was one of the few who didnt get stuck at all in the mud. I agree bike wash would have been great afterwards. Was very well organised, route was well marked. Will definitely do it again

OP has a 3X9 setup, there are unfortunately no clutch derailluers available for this. If the chain has recently been replaced i would blame that as the culprit. put the bike in smallest cog front and rear making sure the chain is still under tension and not hanging loose.
