Within minutes I picked up the first post about it and the people are happy. They’ve been quite supportive every day already.

None of them seemed to put in any great effort on the sprint and it was a bit disappointing. I was hoping Sam would pick up a few more but he was either okay with just taking what he got or he got boxed in behind the other 2, I can’t decide which it was.

I just saw this, I cannot confirm if it’s legit though... “watching in Australia and the Australian commentary had heard that Aru had a disagreement with the team as they are putting everything behind Pogacar and have made him the protected rider in the team. Aru didn’t like that and spat the dummy and went to the back of the bunch and then left the tour as a two finger salute to his director sportif. That’s what was said anyway. How true it is, is another matter, but it does make sense that neither of the two team cars went to help him or encourage him even though the rest of the team were all together in the peloton”

Well I’m happier about the Jumbo effort today. Time into Yates, Quintana etc when they wavered. Sepp looked a bit better today. On the other hand Bernal seems to be in better shape, Quintana also not looking bad considering he was recovering and what can you say about Pogacar at the moment? [emoji1319]
