  1. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to knives so I don’t like those Honey Badgers [emoji3084] at all, but I’m surprised at just how well they’ve done is SA. They really dominate that price range now.
  2. A cold, isolated pic
  3. My first ride in Ireland
  4. Cool stuff
  5. Show us the end result then.
  6. S30V is such a nice steel. I just hate sharpening it.
  7. "Good" is pretty subjective. Personally I don't typically buy any knives with steel below the "quality" of 154cm. Most of mine are S30V blades so I consider 154cm to be "good value". I don't enjoy the range of 440 steels, likewise with D2 and even N609.
  8. Picked up a Z6 and 24-70 2.8 today, let’s see how they go.
  9. I might be near that area in the near future.
  10. Are you living in Wicklow, or just visiting?

  12. I'm struggling something horrid with ITB. I started to feel it about 10 minutes into what ended up being a 4 hour 25min ride. By the end I was barely able to move the leg and I came down the last descent unable to stand on that leg. On top of that the guy I was riding with had a bit of a crash 22km in and he wasn't able to put much weight on one of his arms for the last 13km. Sad day, but at least the bike is fine.
  13. It didn’t go well at all
  14. Apparently I get these for turning one year older. [emoji16]
  15. Died a little at Hillcrest this morning.
  16. Yeah, the kids got the Fuji's on price given that we were expecting them to drop them etc anyway.
  17. Yes, its quite an interesting segment. I looked into this last year and we got our kids one of those Fujifilm's each before we went overseas in Dec. I also owned the Nikon AW before the movers disappeared it. The Fujifilms take okay pics and the build quality seems okay and we haven't had any problems although battery life is on the short side. I did really enjoy the Nikon AW. Apparently the Olympus TG takes the best images, but for something rugged or waterproof I prefer to have the moving lens parts inside the enclosure, with the Olympus the lens actually extends out and that for me is a deal breaker. They all take okay pics, but none of them are sterling. For me the Nikon is the best of the bunch.
  18. How do you get a photo like this with the ride data on it out of Strava?
  19. This is in my plan [emoji1303]
