  1. it's CT, Vettes. Yesterday's "return" ride was 15km and 519m climbing.
  2. dude. Stress is a killer. Seriously... Anyway. On to more losses!
  3. municipal valuation or estate agents valuation
  4. LOL. Should take you down there next time you're here. Give you a bit of a skrik...
  5. LOL. They were!!! Venison mince, dutch gouda, bacon, rocket. No mayo or t-sauce or mustard cos I don't have a working fridge yet. LOL.
  6. LOL. So true. In my defence, I landed on my back, bike on top of me, on a ~40deg slope with my head facing down. Emulated a tortoise trying to right itself.
  7. Did it make fun of you? Say you had a small tottie?
  8. Oh - Patch & Savage - NICE one. I like hearing things like that.
  9. ^^THIS. I'm in my own place now, and it's bloody fantastic. Still not 100% sorted, but the clean slate thing is awesome.
  10. don't be a dick. If it comes out later that you didn't disclose it, she'll be able to say that she's entitled to half.
  11. Table Mountain, for some TM gnar fun. Started off by Stacked Burgers, up to the Rock Slab (first corner on the way up to the cable car) then back up to Tafelberg Road. Being my first ride in 5 1/2 weeks (have I said that this past month has been kaaaaak?!) I gave the Glen a miss as I knew I wouldn't have been able to last for the rest of the ride. Up to the Kramat on Signal, then down Rupert's Folly (bloody good fun!) and OTB into a bush, where I lay for about 2 minutes trying to collect myself again. Giggling like a schoolgirl. Back up to the Kramat, then down Pat's Track to Sea Point side (springbok / Glengarriff roads) Up to the top of the Stairs on Merriman Road (long ass flights of stairs) and down to High Level Road. Back through town to Stacked. Burgers were had. Bloody good fun, that. LOVING TM's mix of gnar and flow.
  12. slight correction here. Depends on how you're married (with accrual, iirc) but essentially she is entitled to half of the GAIN. Not half the value. Very big difference. Also - it's your house. In your name. She can't take it away from you, as she'd have to buy it from you. At least, that's my understanding.
  13. Nope. Works with Garmin as well. Tried it, it works. Get the HR up before you start the session, wait for it to hit 150bpm or whatever your 80% / 70% / 60% whatever is, then start the "exercise" (press record) and immediately (within 10s) remove the HR belt. Keep the watch ticking over until you've hit your desired "exercise time". Hey presto. You've only got 10s of recorded HR data, but over that period you were at >80% and your exercise was >30min. 300 points.
  14. yes, as long as you have proof that they were done, and the allocations would have got you over the threshold. Send a mail to vitalityescalations@discovery.co.za with your supporting documentation, and they'll rectify it.
  15. Glad you're okay, buddy! Those darn pedal snipers are tricky
  16. Ending 2k17 on 104. 3.5 up from 4 weeks ago but 4 down on this time last year. Target is 90. December has been utter shaite
  17. My story continues. December has NOT been kind. Don't know where I am at the moment, but 1/12 I was 500g away from the 90's. Goal is 90. If it takes another year to get there, so be it. I'll be here with you.
