  2. It's not much, but it'll be my home for at least the next year. Small, well kitted, perfect for my needs. 2 bed duplex thing for me and the little one.
  3. not that I've experienced.... They still have stellar service, IMO. And their pricing is excellent.
  4. All that processing power will be used well in that setting. Seriously. GPUs are great at number crunching!
  5. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!! YES YES YES FINALLY!!! (geek squeal)
  6. 100%, buddy... Which is exactly what I was saying, but in a far better more eloquent block of TL;DR...
  7. *Low. But yes. I agree. The economies of scale on console gaming are huge.
  8. yeah, tested the VARA in-store. Was great, and was also on special at Takealot yesterday for ±700 or so. The small jump to this one was imo worth it. LOVED the feel of it. Also, not as loud (clacky) as other mech boards.
  9. yeeeeeah, but to be perfectly honest, a console's draw distance and shader inclusion and foliage levels and character richness at 4k will in no way match a PC's at the same FPS. Console 4k is pretty much the equivalent of gaming on LOW settings on a 4k-capable PC. On ULTRA settings - heck even Medium, there's simply no comparison.
  10. yeah, I'll probably be leaving the lighting on a solid setting, at min brightness. I still like minimmal light intrusion at night for the immersion factor, but also if I'm working at night the lighting is VERY useful for those seldom-used keys. Plus, I've wanted a mechanical keyboard for a while, and this one is receiving stellar reviews. And I've used its cheaper brother in-store. Replaceable keys, replaceable actuators, programmable macros etc etc.
  11. Got it on takealot yesterday. RRP is 1799, takealot and wootware etc have it for ~1300 normally. Got it for 950 or so.

  13. Just bought myself this little beauty.. http://creativecomputing.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/RD-K55655.png
  14. They have a new album out. Well, sorta new. Early 2017.
  15. I've been through this with some clients before. It's an idiosyncrasy of the SUUNTO software. The watch records steps, but Movescount - for some reason - doesn't keep the data properly, which means it doesn't sync with the Vitality platform. Unfortunately it's a quirk, and as far as I know it doesn't have a workaround.
