  1. That's one thing I will say, and I haven't said here because it has been abused in the past. If you send him something personally, and it gets through his PA - he will make it his mission to sort it out.
  2. I wish I had a direct line to one of the devs. I have mail details for someone inside Vitality, but she sends stuff to people above / next to / below her as she's a gateway of sorts. Meh.
  3. Ye but... Gerald's mail refers to a problem with F3's specifically. I know he has one, hence the reply.
  4. Hmmmm... Strange. My fenix 3 isn't having any issues with data pulling through to Disco for my previous workouts. May be just affecting a few ppl/.
  5. Dude. NICE review! Agreed that they need better tyres with stiffer sidewalls though, to allow the lower pressures without tyre roll. Lekker read.
  6. As thermo said, rock strikes are a big problem with grub screws. They're ripped out and deform the threads so when you replace the damaged / lost grubs, they don't stay put for long.
  7. International shipping only at the moment. They do it direct off their website afaik
  8. I'm really really intrigued by them, and the literature makes sense (to me) Only thing that dissuaded me from buying them is that they're grub screws, instead of bolts. If they were bolts I'd have bought them instead of the SAINTs.
  9. Yeah, I used to use them a bit. Had superstar pedals, hubs and a whole host of other bits and pieces before they went the UPS route.
  10. Yeah, in those small bikes, the right gearing makes a HUGE difference to acceleration out the corners.
  11. After work, numpty... Get out the office at 4, on to the trails by 4h30 and enjoy.
  12. Depends what you want out of it. If you're going for an XC ride / race, 20% should be fine as it'll be far stiffer in the rear. But for general riding I'd say 25-30% sag on the rear, with gear, in the attack position (out the saddle)
  13. I have just swapped my Debonair can for a normal volume can specifically due to having to run high pressures and pack it full of bands to get any sort of mid stroke support on my reign. Gonna see how it rides at Conters tomorrow Should be more progressive, and have more mid stroke support at the same sag level whilst also needing less pressure.
  14. I'd like to see the delineation between the guys that came up from 125 & 250 vs the 4 strokers. Would make for interesting comparison
  15. No, one can't. Different riding style - apparently the GP2 bikes are along the lines of blat it as hard as you can, brake like hell, tip it and just hope it grips. GP3 is all about smoothness and carrying as much speed as possible through the corners with minimum braking. Moto is a mix. Can't blat it too early, far more tyre management problems, more difficult to slow downdue to the size difference, etc etc. And then you have the different bikes with different characteristics, power delivery differences, tyre management differences, etc etc. It's almost a case of learning from day dot. I think Marquez is the first person to actually successfully make the leap in the new generation (post 2 stroke) and be on from from the beginning.
  16. IT'S AWESOME!!! Been riding it for 2 weeks now. Or so. Hooks up beautifully when you lean it, rolls very well and has a decent level of grip for climbing lose stuff. Not as high volume as the Schwalbe ROck Razor, but Schwalbe casings are huge. Casing feels tough. Rubber is sticky. You may want to message Cuan (thermophage) and ask him how it went on the Ezel Enduro. He was running it at the back, with a Magic Mary at the front (same combo as me)
  17. Just goes to show, man. All that speak of "we'll never sell them, people don't want them" is just BS. People don't want good high volume Maxxis tyres? Well then why has Rush sold pretty much an entire container FULL of them on the first consignment they brought in? People don't want flat pedals? Well then, experience would say otherwise... People only ride XC and 29ers... Yeah. We all saw how well that went. IDIOT importers.
  18. and compared to some of his own, as well.
  19. Here's a brilliant view of the passing maneuver. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ud0qxNDYr4
  20. Yep. Saw that this morning. NOTHING wrong with the maneuver, and Rossi has a point. EVERY rider makes block passes. Lorenzo just seems to think that they're only acceptable when he does them. FFS. What a whiney little bitch.
  21. HOLY CRAP! Now that is indeed a blast from the past!!!
