Probably Jason... Very good combo, that. I'm running the Ibex at the front of my reign, and used the combo on my hardtail. They're far better sidewall wise than the Contis, but not as strong as the Schwalbe Super Gravity Carcass. But then, nothing is, so that's not really a fair comparison. I'd say that they're a little stronger than the Snakeskin sidewalls on Schwalbe, and so far they're not leaking anything. Really easy to set up tubeless as well. Go for it - it's my 2nd choice combo behind Magic Mary & Rock Razor.

That was my first thought, but if you read the article it actually provides a good point. IE: trying to persuade lighties not to get knocked up in school, which historically means that they do not further their education and sit in the benefit queue. Backwards, but in a good way.

How much of a rise? And yeah, slightly wider bars would work. Also maybe a bar with less of a sweep. I've just changed to a Rapide bar from my stock giant. It's got a 4deg larger sweep, and that translates to a 36mm difference in hand location.

How wide are your bars currently, Dom? EDIT: You know my views on stem length. In my opinion though, I hold that a 70mm stem is still acceptable in extreme cases. Nothing more than that, though. Maybe try a 60mm stem for starters - KCNC do ones for cheap cheap - R 300 per or something, so the outlay won't be that high when you're still fiddling. Buy the stem for cheap, then see if it works.

Courier costs in the region EUR30 or so, and there's no duty on tyres. Only VAT charged at 15.4% (cost of item plus 10% to determine vatable amount) so it pays to import a few at a time to offset the shipping costs. Bike-components.de is also an option, and they have slightly cheaper shipping at approx EUR 20 depending on what you ship. EDIT: Difference is that Bike-discount ship with UPS, whereas Bike-components ships with German Post, which comes via SAPO when it reaches here...
