  1. Believe me, we're also wondering. But that said, I'm definitely in for an annual pass!
  2. yeah it is. Exactly the same post, just different branding.
  3. Nothing justifies a Makro special. Oh and on that - Raydek's first outing to Contermanskloof on his akro special had him split the head tube at the top & bottom. Just wasn't strong enough for anything above a pavement drop. And even then I think it'd be challenged...
  4. This is him in one of Eric Palmer's pics getting a POD on Pinkbike in 2012 http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p6pb7674802/p5pb7674802.jpg
  5. Theo Erlangsen? SA national DH rider Came 2nd this year at Jonkershoek cos he blew it into one of the berms. If he hadn't gone in that fast before the road gap, he'd have beaten Stefan Garlicki.
  6. It's the remote that's new. when it was originally released / publicized it had one of those thumb levers like the KS, except better... I remember reading that they were just finalizing the design of a shifter-type lever...

  9. sky blue and cream 2-tone EDIT IMO the 2 tone colour scheme suits them FAR better than a single colour.
  10. Same company, but the Snakeskin versions of these are a COMPLETELY different animal to the stock standard non snakeskin versions. Alternatively the WTB Vigilante & Wolverine work as a very good combo, as does the Onza Ibex & citius.
  11. I just threw up my lunch.... It's trying too hard to be retro.
  12. same way as normal. Strap goes around the helmet's rear portion. Helps if you have a proper half-shell lid as opposed to those stupid ones with all the different angled vents at the back... (roadie MTB lid, effectively)
  13. direct. Iwan Kemp on here. Drop him a message and see if he can point you in the right direction.
  14. Remember those are CK hubs - which are poooooes expensive. So if you order the rims, get some Hope hubs locally and get Wyatt to lace them and build them for you then you'll be looking at a FAR lower end build price.
  15. Is that per RIM, or entire wheel? In which case the Derbys are pretty much the same at $380 per rim.
