  1. Gulf Porsche 917 http://www.lambopower.com/forum/uploads/monthly_04_2013/post-9296-1365255737.jpg
  2. That looks like the Gulf Porsche. Just taking the blue with orange striping into consideration and then the shape of the cockpit.
  3. Hampers the ability of new sealant to get where it needs to go iin order to seal a hole properly.
  4. Sunlight, a scourer and lots of patience. Then peel the remnants (snotboggers) off from where they sit.
  5. Not entirely sure, Dean. I shall ask Pain or Shine when I next see him (this weekend) I do know that it will be properly treated, so as not to attract mould.
  6. yeah. Oh - and I didn't *actually* buy it. I got asked what I wanted. I said I know exactly what I want, transfer the cash and I'll pull the trigger. Swipe!
  7. yep. Nat'l braai day. So you;ll be braaing in celebration of my heritage, bitches!
  8. 100%. that's also why many of the jumps are now being extended back so that your whole bike fits on the kicker.
  9. GAH! Damn you, PnH! Look what you made me do!? happy birthday to me, happy birthday to meeeee... in 11 days tie it'll be happy birthday to meeeeeee
  10. Absolutely. And that's why (at least in Tokai) the new jumps won't be doubles, they'll be tables. Which you can huck to your maddest, but if you stuff up you don't die.
  11. Yeah, but still... It's a teocali at heart. The rest is like diamonds on a Main Road harlot. All show but has nothing to do with the deep-down BADNESS...
  12. Pfft. Yeah. I know. It's a struggle, dude. Have a look at the "b line" at one of the rock gardens in Boulders. The primary line was a helluva challenging climb, that I took aaaages to get up without dotting down. The B line (which incedentally has only appeared over the past 6 months) takes a far less challenging route up the rocks, hitting perhaps one or 2. It's a very good case study in laziness and unwillingness to further one's skill levels, that. It used to be challenging - difficult - yet rewarding as hell when you did it. Now there's an unofficial B line, which never should have been there in the first place. It's people that take that B line that have changed the face of how we need to build trails in a place like Tokai, where everyone rides pretty much everything that DOESN'T have a DH1/2/3 attached to it, and then whinges because "it's too hard" Things like 2 lines at every technical obstacle. That new-ish rock garden on the new Mamba, that is challenging no matter what speed you take it at. Jumps right next to B lines to give the choice, instead of drops and jumps spanning the whole width of the track. As for dumbing down - yeah, maybe. And yes, a certain amount of technicality NEEDS to remain, and then build and build. It's a difficult spot to be in. We have to make it challenging, yet we have to make it safe at the end of the day as well.
  13. Thanks! I shall live vicariously through you... erm. Yeah. You know what I mean. Would mean that my ISCG tabs go unloved, but hey!
  14. That is NOT a bad price, considering the Reign 1 goes for more than 30k new now.
  15. 2013 Reign X? Or do you mean the 2013 Reign 1 / 2 / 3... IOW - this frame... http://www.giant-bicycles.com/_generated/_generated_us/bikes/models/images/400h/Reign_X_FR2.jpg or this frame http://www.giant-bicycles.com/_generated/_generated_us/bikes/models/images/2000/2013/Reign_1.jpg Normal Reign has 6" travel whereas the Reign X has 6.7" The normal reign comes in to SA, but the Reign X only came in as a frameset and not a complete bike.
  16. But that was the link in the linky link thing... Buycycle, I mean... And I am having to hold myself back on this purchase. Would be great, but I cannot spend more on the fiets at this point!
  17. Commencal are getting rid of some of their old metas. Go to www.commencal.co.za and have a look. They had some pretty darn good deals going.
  18. I wear my indola perennial baggies. Quite comfortable and very light.
  19. Yes - done that already - forgot I had done that! EDIT: BTW - this ONLY applies to ISCG mounted chain devices. BB mounted or seat tube mounted devices are fine and have no clearance issues
  20. TBH I dunno. I think the easiest, cheapest way would be to get a set of extended crank bolts (the ones that are used with bash guards) and a few washers, to allow you to space it so that the chainring is in the middle of where the granny & big rings would be. I've jsut used my triple crank, and removed the big & granny rings. That's pretty much a central chainline...
