I did go back there today, claiming a skewer fail, which is BS as I cycled about 20km after that with no problem

Yeah some nice school fees there, lucky it didnt came off on the way back from the Mountain,

that BS, I went to the shop today and they claimed that the skewer must have broke, total BS

has this happend to anyone? I had my MTB at the lbs because I complained about the brakes etc, on a brand new bike, I got the bike back and on my first ride on the very first climb as I stood up to start pedaling harder I just saw the gravel coming closer, and over the handlebars I went, I couldnt understand what had happend, but as as I looked back I saw my back wheel came off, Must have been a codac moment!!! at least my back wheel has more free flow since I had put it back myself

OK, so I bought a new bike which was fitted with Elixir 3 Hydrolic disk breaks, the problem that I have is that the breaks are touching the rotor on the back wheel, infact you cant even see a mm space either side of the rotor, if you turn the wheel it turns maybe 3 times before stopping, the guys at the LBS is saying that its a problem with the Elixir 3 break and that I will have to ride it till there is enough wear on the pads, my shimano's was easy to set with a simple screw, does anyone know how to set these breakes or are the LBS telling me the truth? at least I am getting alot more training with the extra drag

Thanks, I've done a wheelset upgrade already and made a big difference in average times and effort level, the fork is next on the list as I still have a Suntour xcm with 100mm travel, the current setup of the bike is just to heavy as well

was also thinking that, would the extra 2k benefit me that much? could rather buy a nice magic shine for the transbaviaans
