I knew I was in trouble going into the race, started feeling flue'ish and not as fit as I wanted to be, also struggled the first half, but the potato at the 60k mark did the job, got some cramp block and a second life and finished with an official time of 5h07, stugeling to get the image out of my head of the guy they where trying to resuscitate and currently man down with some sort of airway infection, but still loved the the race and will be back next year!!!!

5h07 first time with a snot nose and really unfit, WOW big-up to the guys doing it sub 4 thats some serios riding

Just heard about a second incedent where a second guy also did not survive after a serios crash, anybody with more info?
