  17. Al 100% All your control on a descent is in the back brakes. your front wheel controls direction you want to go. POINT and SHOOT. Pick your line in advance, i learnt when racing enduro motorbikes , you should look at least 4 meters ahead and the bike will follow. If you look at the rock you going to ride over the rock. My 5c worth PS i really enjoyed the race and the rocky section, had 2 guys bail infront of me! waited and helped until they were clear and then flat out again.

  20. Was a great event! "Loved" all the climbing! Funny how no one here complains about the route and how rough and hard it was, i guess it comes down to the fact that it was exactly what mountain biking is all about. I read the Trailseeker thread of the weekend, the guys were complaining about "grasbolle" If only they knew! Routes were awesome, great view, great people. Met a bunch of the hubbers. Great to put a face to name! Overall .... great race. and will be back next year.
  21. Any idea who took photos along the route?
  22. There was ample oppertunity to cut corners on the course. THere were a number of places by the burnt grass section, where you can see corner cutting lines were taken.
