  1. The whatsapp group that I belong to, had the electrical issue highlighted from one of the pilots friens who was there. But who knowns what really happened
  2. Not that I am defending them but from what I heard the light came on because it was grounding Thus and electrical issue
  3. Cool thanks. I see the pic you posted but can not find yhat I still can not find it using the site
  4. How do you find that erf one the map? I searched erf 1783. Nothing 1783, houtbay. Nothing
  5. The "low fuel" light came on and they decided to rather land. They found it was NOT out of fuel when checking the wing and could take off and carry on.
  6. What is the rpm? Lots of people say spin out. But don’t post rpm. I have a friend that “spins out” at 95 rpm That is spinning out in my mind. That is not training correctly
  7. So they have mtb’s but ride road/ gravel????
  8. So then you are on your own? or are you riding with people that still runs 2 x10
  9. Who are you riding with and what gearing do they have? All my rding buddies (all 4 of them ) run 1 x systems and I am yet to "spin out" but then again I can sit at 115 rpm for a while
  10. To the guys who say they "spin out" at what RPM do you "spin out" ? In the groups I ride, we are doing the same speed so either we all "spin out" or we are in the 32 x 10 or 32 x11 (me in this have to do 8rpm more than the others) So I am not sure where this "spinning out" happen you are talking about ?
  11. Not sure why you want to grease to the steerer at all. Grease the bearing interface. Very lightly Carbon paste where handle bar clamps. Every other place on the steerer etc should be dry
  12. That is not real a place to put carbon paste. Rather use a thin layer of grease
  13. Against many here on the hub’s recommendation. I use no soap, chain comes of into some turps. Rest of the bike is washed with water. Hi pressure cleaner with water only. Never had bearings go or any issues. After that I use compressed air and blow dry most. Unlike a friend who used some product to spray on and wait. The rinse 20 min later. He needed 3 sets of bearings in a year. Btw. I have washing my bikes like for the last 15 years
  14. Adjusting the screw is a once off setting. It controls the spring that makes it tighter or looser to unclip. It does not work for worn cleats. But the pedals also get some wear to the point where brand new cleats will still slide backwards and forwards in the pedals. When this happens I take the plate off the pedal and file down the edge where the rear spring loaded part stops against the front plate. 0.00something of a mm. Put back and test. No play......go ride.
  15. If you trouble unclipping don’t file anything. That is for when your cleats slide within the pedal
  16. XT and XTR is very easy to service. Time consuming but can be done. The other ones need a little tool to service unless you don’t care if the plastic get a bit damaged
  17. Plan for it = Cool Train for it = Cool Drop R100k on it as it might happen = hmmmm not me thanks
  18. Was this not the spar owner that told some to "Fu&^ off"
  19. I dont understand what you are saying Where is BC? You mentioned 150 Cov per day for 30 days and then talk about WC excess death of 1200 per week? What does this part mean " I'd guess we have better mask etiquette and not so good healthcare. BC might do a bit better if you improve on wearing masks."
  20. Apparently the risk of getting is on a plane is way less than a restaurant
  21. wrong morne
  22. Snip wrong Morne
  23. Air in the plane is not circulated from what I understand, it comes in from the top blows to the bottom and out the back.
