  1. Jesus h I need another beer after reading that
  2. me neither. assumed it was 0 as my floor is pretty level and the trainer never seems to move much.
  3. I tried to PM you but the file is 1.3 megs for Jan... let me know if you have any ideas how I can convert polar xml to an Endomondo friendly format though, cheers
  4. I'd like to play too, but polar personal trainer stores my data in xml format and I cannot up it to Endomondo. The Polar xml to gpx converter I got from sourceforge doesn't seem to be working either.
  5. Maybe Keith could help you with the supplements. Not sure what use you'd have for meatloaf.
  6. I remember hitting the bottom of suikerbossie at 35 km/h with VA in 2009 and thinking how similar it was to scrum machine training.
  7. That gets a hammering every year at my daughter's school variety concert. I've since stopped going.
  8. Seemed to buffer lactic acid for me when I stacked it over a number of days. Can't say my VO2Max fared any better or worse though. Now I just take FiT anti-lac's for the same effect and much less cash.
  9. All they need is a bunch of polls set up on the interwebs somewhere and a list of options for each. There's already a merge field in the mail template for each bunch & departure time. Stick the link under that. Whack every tune on an mp3 CD cued up in order of departure. Hey presto.
  10. Weird, I was also thinking of this
  11. That looks about right for VA. Suikerbossie has a line at the bottom and the top. Looks like you have measured Chappies same as I do - from where little Chappies first kicks up to the viewing point.
  12. They should get each bunch to vote for the song of their choice. Previous year's winner selects a list of 10 options. Link to the poll from the start time email notification. That way everyone has a hand in their own Argus theme music
  13. For 35km/h I think you would need Chris Hoy's legs stitched to Marco Pantani's torso circa 1997.
  14. haha it will be a big bunch then. I know I can hang with the VA's on the climbs so I won't get lonely after Boyes Drive this year.
  15. Sub 5 minutes, 23km/h average more or less. The front of $ goes up a bit faster than that.
  16. I'm in VA, totally fine with that. Rode $ last year and I sucked the hind tit
  17. I have an Argus entry for sale, going cheap
  18. Come on the wind is bad enough, you want we should kill ourselves before we even pedal up eastern boulevard?
  19. With good weather you will see 41km/h at the finish
  20. I don't think anyone wants to use it, it is ***. That's what I got from this thread anyway.
  21. I used to spend big loot on Veridian multivitamins and the Solgar vitamin C. Now I just eat futurelife for breakfast. 27 bucks a box you can't go wrong. You'll still need to bump up your vitamin c intake. Eat some fruit. Better for you than swallowing a pill.
  22. Yes, definitely Zipps over the Ultegra to DA upgrade. You should be thinking about Sram Red anyways Better shifting, cheaper and lighter than DA. Unless you are a spaz and cannot shift or set gears properly. Apparently if you don't mind lugging a battery around Di2 helps in that situation haha
  23. I have 404 firecrests and wind does not bother me. I live and ride in the teeth of the South Easter in the deep south of the peninsula.
  24. Catherine Pridday had her road bike stolen from her home yesterday morning (30 January). It is an XS SCOTT CONTESSA, imported from the US, so quite uncommon in appearance. White frame, with blue decal, and black fork; Speedplay pedals; white bartape; 10spd; triple chain ring. Any info or help in getting it back will be most appreciated.
