  2. "Cohabitation, also referred to as a common law marriage, living together or a domestic partnership, is not recognised as a legal relationship by South African law. There is, therefore, no law that regulates the rights of parties in a cohabitation relationship. Cohabitation generally refers to people who, regardless of gender, live together without being validly married to each other. In the past, these relationships were called extramarital cohabitation. Put simply, men and women living together do not have the rights and duties married couples have." http://www.divorcelaws.co.za/the-law-on-cohabitation.html

  16. ADT found two bikes attached to each other: A Silverback and a Merida, both near entry level. Both bikes have disc brakes and clipless pedals. If the owner goes to ADT, 37 Herte Street, chances are good they will get their bikes back.
  17. Website calling for interested parties now live at: www.backtracker.io "We believe that every cyclist has the right to a better ride." Backtracker is a radar-powered device that simply and smartly helps to take care of your cycling safety. It tracks the difference between potentially threatening rear-approaching vehicles and regular traffic, leaving you to get on with what you're here for - the ride. We'd love to keep you in the loop with how far we are from putting Backtracker up for pre-order. From sneak peeks to final tweaks, let's kick the conversation into gear.
  18. mmm, sadly, they had no time to act
  19. so the bottom line is how to make ourselves safer, via our own actions and choices, while (still) riding our bikes on roads?
  20. in the Western Cape, it seems as if most hits are.from behind, and fatal. The last one was on Polkadraai, driver had 'nowhere to go' and riders could possibly have benefited from a rearview mirror, like tourists and yesteryear bikes employ
  21. when I do (seldomly) ride sections of road, I ride far-left, and at any point nip off onto dirt, then look behind, get back on when ready.Bit of a process, but I see the #backtrack device giving me a headsup based on speed and proximity of eyes-unseen approaching vehicle. When the prototype and website goes live, we'll see how the inventors addressed the problem of that flow of cars just coming from behind. Roadshows in various cities will give consumers a chance to also add ideas and input
  22. jy koop die koffie, enige dag volgende week? (then we sommer go look at the 3d-printed demo)
