  2. Josh at Cyclists Workshop just did a component swap for me. He also did a Chinese build for me last year. Very good. think he charges about R500 for a build but there always some extra costs such as cables etc. His number is 073 261 7483, give him a call.
  3. And if you can supply the organisers with route profiles that would also be useful!
  4. Agree with Eldron!!!!! Track was awesome but they needed a bit more jeep track to allow passing.

  10. I only have enough money to buy one bike but not sure what route to go. I will be doing ironman next year and a few triathlons leading up to it. Would it be better to buy a good road bike and then just do the conversion for ironman or should I rather go for a tri bike and convert to road for the limited events I do every year? What is the process for conversion and what does it cost (roughly)?
  11. Just bought a set of wheels from Rob Booth at Carbon29er.com. Wow... i was seriously impressed with the guys knowledge and service. He was happy to spend the time answering my questions and discussing my various options. His prices were also very reasonable. Very very impressed!!!!!

  17. A mate and I have ordered our frames from dengfu and they are on-route. We have already purchased all of the other parts and components so once the frames arrive then we will be ready to go, there is only one problem........... We dont know the first thing about building a bike and also dont have the tools to do it. Does anyone know of a place where we can have the bikes built up that will be reasonable????? Alternatively, is there a hubber ( with tools) in Joburg or Pretoria that would be willing to assist us with the build on a sat or sunday afternoon in exchange for a few cases of beer and some food??????
