  1. And the GS has grown as well............o sorry Gen, thought you mentioned the human [emoji1787][emoji1787]. Ps, how are things up in Potchefstroom, luckily my daughter came down when I went up to get my mom's 2nd last load of household stuff as she will be coming down as soon as lockdown is over to live by us?
  2. So sorry for your loss [emoji174].
  3. I'll even sing that song with Freddy if only we're allowed outside. I have a friend, Bennie Roux, look him up on Facebook, he did the equivalent of the Comrades marathon in his yard today as a fundraiser. Raised R30000.00 plus for a school with kids with special needs.
  4. Baie nice ride ChrisF, so much jealousy [emoji1303]
  5. I think that he didn't THINK at all. [emoji3061][emoji855][emoji856][emoji603]
  6. Wanneer laas is jou fiets gewas? Hahaha
  7. Well, I don’t run the two old Honda’s currently residing in the lounge! Best place for your pride and joy. [emoji850][emoji1787][emoji1787]
  8. Sorry to hear, that's never an easy thing to do and especially when one can't be there to say goodbye when they go in. [emoji24]
  9. What distance are you on now?
  10. Baie nice, geniet hom laaaaaater eers hoor. [emoji1303][emoji6]
  11. Having owned a 650 Dakar and 1150Gs I've got a very soft place and respect for BMW's. I used to be a normal motorcyclist, no hard Enduros, jumps etc. Only bike other than the BMW at the moment would be the Africa Twin for sure.
  12. I wonder if this is true?
  13. Another great use for the light is during load shedding - put it on max setting and shine it up against the ceiling - it lights up an entire room easily. No need for gas or candles. This is so true, we had a braai the other day when Eskom went off line and even my 900 Lumens extreme light worked so nice, I almost didn't need a fire to braai the meat. [emoji1787]
  14. Looks like you have a grip of steel on those handlebars. Well done on the setup, looks quite good and I guess as long as you don't use the wrong lever it might work quite good. [emoji123][emoji106]
  15. With you on extreme lights, great quality and they have a good/great handlebar clamp with rubber inserts to fit various sizes handlebars. I've got a 2015 model, 900 Lumens (with only one led in front light) with a rear light combo which still works 100% after numerous morning and afternoon rides. Charged it tonight again for an early morning mtb gravel ride tomorrow, weather permitting as they've forecasting rain for us.
  16. I'm quite sure that there will be very little International sports of any kind this year.
  17. Some seriously nice deals at Giant ... moving 2019 stock ... Problem is $$$$ [emoji24][emoji3064][emoji33][emoji85][emoji1787]
  18. I was in the Spez shop this week, sjo, so much niceness in the e-bike department.
  19. Me 2, the last 3 times I drove up to the Freestate, it was cold, winter time and I had my windbreaker jacket on inside my bakkie with my window rolled down all the way. Love it.
  20. Same thing happened to me in 2009 with the Karoo 2 coast. Not even a finish line when I eventually got to the finish. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji3061]
  21. Visited my sister in Somerset West this weekend and this Lab of theirs sleeps on her back, unbelievable. I've never seen it before.
  22. Wow, what a big ride [emoji898][emoji106][emoji123]
  23. Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I haven't got green fingers. [emoji3061]
