    Don't know what happened this year, maybe its my age lol . But since Comrades I battled to stay healthy. Had a bad case of Strep 2 weeks ago, and then its the flu etc. Luckily summer is here, so hopefully it will be better.

    I'm to scared to sync my runs to Strava. These Last 2 Months have been a real struggle. Lost a lot of form. And when I saw the entry date for the Comrades today, fomo big time. Will skip it next year. Will use the time to figure out how to adapt my training around 12h working days.

    Oh its got plenty of speed. 120km/ph is cruising speed. I took it up to 160km/ph+ on the N4, without any trouble at all. You wont have any trouble overtaking cars and trucks.

    Man oh Man, these last 2 months have been the worst ever. Coming down with Streptococcus on Monday, and constantly sick. And still don't know when our work hours are going to change. Because of all those factors, my running have been almost non-existent.

    Since I'm also a MTB'er, My Garmin Edge will prob work just as good. But only when I want to do some riding on a new route off the beaten track, or when I got a gpx file to upload for off road riding.

    Any good Cheap GPS Devices out there for Adventure Riding. Don't really want to spend R7000+ for a Garmin. I Guess my normal Car GPS wont work.

    So life has thrown me a bit of a curveball. We had a meeting with Management and they decided we are now going to start working 12h shift, 4days in, 4 days out, seeing as they want to operate the border post 24hours. So that's going to affect my running and training immensely. But thats life, just have to try and adapt.

    I'm still lacking in that department. I just don't feel that motivated anymore. Maybe I need to do other types of runs like a Trail Ultra run etc.. Just to get off the tar a bit.
