  1. Anyone here using Extreme lights Premium Motorbike Spotlights? I see they have a special where you get the wiring harness with. Looking at buying it, but, are the on/off switch waterproof?
  2. And don't forget the tekkies with jeans
  3. This I didn't know. So they will pay the customs duties etc. If so, then I will def order from them.
  4. Ha ha ha, that is the plan at the end of the year. First I have to get through that small 161km Trail Run with 7500m Accent lol.
  5. So jealous of you guys doing the Comrades this year. Still Struggling with my foot injury, only ran 10km so far for the year, but hopefully by Friday I will be 100%, according to the doc and some new Meds.
  6. I will try it today. Using my PS4 to watch Netflix. I saw my son the other day using the same interactions with his Minecraft TV Series also on Netflix. Looks pretty cool.
  7. Hey, our Running thread is in 2nd place.. Seems running is cooler than cycling..
  8. I actually did read a review which the guy said that his foot also rolled to the side.
  9. Anybody here using Hoka's Speed goat or Torrent? My Slab Sense shoes is nearing the end of their lifespan, and I need to buy new shoes before the Mac Mac 100Miler. At the Western States and Leadville 100milers, most of the top runners run in Hokas. So they cant be that bad.
  10. I can imagine. I'm pretty excited about this event. Looks like fun. But that Fanie Botha Trail is a B@tch.
  11. Looking forward to it.. Will tell my backup crew, to have plenty of socks and talcum at hand at every spectator point.. Thanks Jewbacca, will def work in a couple of long days with my full backpack on..
  12. Yes, 7500m of climbing. So I will prob do alot of walking ha ha.
  13. Yeah, Well I guess if your fit it doesn't really matter. You are going to hurt alot after 120km. Lol
  14. Bit of a Noob question. So I've committed to the Mac Mac 100 miler trail run in May next year. Since I am not living close to any trails where we are going to run on, I will only be able to get to run there maybe once a month. Do I just keep on training like I do when I train for a Comrades, or must I change it. Will also be hitting the gym more in January.
  15. I did use their coupon. Bought myself new nikes,( not the pink ones, its teak ) and a couple other things. Got the 15% discount. Poobie is by far the cheapest..
  16. Dammit, your lucky... I Always get the 75 or 50 points..

    Rugby...

Absolutely. We were outstanding leading up to the QF and Final. But somewhere the wheels came off. So Pissed, we are much better than yesterdays game. But the Sharks put us under a lot of pressure..
  24. . I'll let Ferret report back on his outstanding run Odison.. How did it go? Well Done again Stretch, Sorry we only had a brief Chat, things were pretty chaos with runners not being able to get back in the stadium after we finished. Short Race Report - Plan was to run 3.50s for as long as possible and look for a 2h42-2h44 to qualify to berlin next year (sub2h45 good for age entries), my PB was from 2016 Cape Town 2h41.57. But thought that was a bit out of reach. Went through 5 in 18.54, bit fast but felt super, was in a Big bunch of close to 30 European Club runners and the First 2 Dutch ladies in their national champs... Decided I was pretty comfortable and Id just sit in tight.. hit 10 in 37.30, couldn't believe how strong I felt so stayed in the bunch... hit 21kms in 79.07 still with the massive bunch but now a lot of jostling and elbows started flying... Decided I felt good so went off the front with only 1 other guy... did my fastest 10km split of 36.50 between 20 and 30kms... still felt super until 37kms when my legs started to fade... hung on gamely the last 5kms, was tough being alone into a slight uphill drag into the wind. Finished 2h38.29 in 105th Position, 6th M40 plus... super stoked.. Entered Berlin 2019 while sitting at the airport waiting to come home yesterday.. Let the 11months to sub2h35 begin... Cant recommend Amsterdam marathon more... That is really super fast time Ferret. Well Done..
