I think its irresponsible for the Minister to say people are allowed to go for a walk and run. Now everyone will be a runner and the seriousness of the lockdown wont mean a thing. I still think people dont take this virus seriously. Rather run around the house or up and down the complex. He is just confusing alot of people.
I'm living in a complex, not very big, 'bout 100m from the gate till the end of the complex. So i worked out, running up and down for +-200 times is 20km. . Not very keen, but better than doing nothing.
But the question must be asked, why they are still letting people do subs. When they knew the number of infections are growing and wont slow down in 31/2 weeks time.
Just stirring the pot a little. Saw this post on fb. I really feel sorry for the runners. They dont know what to believe anymore. Its kinda getting ridiculous now...
Races being cancelled all over the place, but still the CMA keeps quiet and says the race will continue. I honestly dont think this virus will magically disappear withing 2 months. There are people that dont have much money that's booking places to stay in Durban. They could rather use that money to stock up on essential goods if things get worse. Just my 2c.
I think the CMA must make a decision asap. Unfortunately the number effected wont go down within 3 months. It will prob get worse before it'll get better.
Even though it hurts me saying this, but i think you are correct. The Cricket are already canceled everywhere, and now Super Rugby looks like its going to be canned to, because of NZ new Quarantine measures.
I did that once. Went out at about 20:00 and hid all my water bottles at different spots along my 30km run. Next morning i found all but 1. Damn Moz bastards stole my water bottles. .
