  2. I feel like a mobile pharmacist all these drugs i am trekking around with me. im refusing to shake hands when greeting people nowadays.
  3. im on my 3rd dose of antibiotics in 4 weeks, any docs on here that can recommend some mooti to build my immune system, 1st. flu 2nd. ear , nose throat ,infection. 3rd.stomach flu(this was the worse) I have some big races coming up haven trained for 4weeks it going be tough
  4. this race you will learn to live with that "uncomfortable" stage in your fitness, legs hurting, deep breathing, pains and aches you will suffer a lot.... but finishing it is a nice reward
  5. its generally a flat race....but had some nice bumps in, flat compared to walkerville classic or the monster
  6. was a good ride out, the 75km route was superb , great views from the top of the mountains we climbed.... loved the rocky climbs on the "loop" and "wilkie se buletjie" ...heartbreak hill broke a few chaps...saw some people cramping and swearing up that short hill.. water points were friendly and stocked definitely be back next year !!!!!

  8. thaba blue.... will keep you entertained for some time rietvlei trails are good took the lady there on fri she loved it, a lil bit of mud but nothing hectic...
  9. I have switched to water only during my rides in my camel pack, however I find that I ride for longer without cramps with just water.....if I know its going to be a 4-6 hr ride I make sure I grab some chow and a coke mid way and im alright this works for me, but may not for some one else

  17. I agree from a maintenance point of view, sunday I went cruising through mud puddles like no ones business and no gear problems niks a little bit of squeaks , where as my geared bik I know for a fact by third mud puddle im having shifting problems

  20. ok ive recently been riding my ss rigid for 2 months ive seen improvements in strength, choosing lines, handling and fitness im finding im leaning more to the ss when I go ride I leave the geared behind.... what do you guys see as pros and cons on ss ?
  21. I heard about this on twitter, thought it was a rumour , I cycle through there on my mtb towards grassmere .....that's not happening soon after this

  24. rocks, sand, smooth, a little bit of jeep track in the beginning, you got to be mentally prepared for this one, climbing the monster is tough, and then coming down the side of the mountain before breeds nice and rocky good race overall.....this one hurt me
