  6. Ouch!!!!! ... had a similar incident in Tokai that also resulted in massive bruise like that. Bailed into a tree stump, except landed on my back across the thing.

  9. Excellent song, haven't heard it for a while though. Current play list, Tenet - Sovereign (whole cd) ... some wicked Death Metal to start the morning
  10. Gracie and Matt are the winners of the Kris Holm "Evolution Of Balance" award for 2009 for proposing and now doing the Great Divide trip. The award is a grant to support riders seeking non-competitive Mountain Unicycling adventures in remote places around the world. Last year's award went to a group that did a 4 day trip through the jungles of Panama doing the old Gold Route. Gracie and Matt's trip certainly is quite a feat, so hat's off to them

  17. I've had my HR monitor for a few years now.I find it very useful to keep track of how much I'm exerting myself, although it's not hard to figure out without the HR Monitor . Mostly I used it now to track my fitness level. ie. How quickly does my HR drop after some hard intervals, and overall fitness with my average HR on a ride, and lastly just to track my riding time.
  18. Cool bananas. I take it you know Andrew then ? Who's been bitten big time by the Uni bug Will arrange the workshop then seeing as there is a fair but small interest. Will look to do something in the next couple weeks, and will get the other one wheelers to come along with their Uni's to help out. JohnnyReggae2009-10-05 01:37:29
  19. This morning it's Dying Rose, their entire first album "The Bleeding Flowers", from Belarus. Think very early Theater Of Tragedy.... Goth-Doom metal. Really like the contrasts of the female operatic vocals against the male Death-Growls. Music ranges from slower goth doom, to death metal, to hints of black metal all intertwined. Makes for very interesting listening *mosh* ...
