  4. I dig Monster Magnet. Have 3 of their albums and enjoy them all. Don't hear that name often. TotD had quite a star-studded lineup. Have you listened to Mother Love Bone? I used to have a copy of the Apple album, but sadly don't anymore.
  5. Maaannn!!! great band' date=' and even his follow up - Love Split Love was good! is an important song for me! yep - that was just before he lost the plot! Remember those live shows he used to play at 8 on a Sunday night. My tdk d90's used to work overtime! Didn't know about Love Spit Love.... time to check them out me thinks Used to enjoy Barney's shows, but then like you say he lost the plot. I remember going to a Varsity Rag tour that featured a number of bands. Mango Groove were playing and they were getting boo'd. Barney decided to come out and calm things down and ended up getting hammered by empty beer cans. Things did settle though when No Friends Of Harry came out to play, and man they rocked !!!

  16. Went through to the waterfront to watch Geoff finish his epic journey. He looked quite tired but very relieved. I feel somewhat privileged to have met such an extraordinary person, who was very humble in his achievement. I did not manage to get any of my own photos as I somehow was given Howard's camera (his backup) and just started taking a bunch of photos. I will need to ask Howard if I can get a few to post here. There were a few people that came through to meet him, and of course the usual tourist crowds at the waterfront. Geoff managed to create quite a buzz with a few people wanting to try his unicycle. Well done to Geoff, and I take my hat off to him !!! Chatted to his fiance for a bit, and they will be on their way back to Durban in the next couple of days taking a slow drive so that Geoff can relax and enjoy the scenery of his trip.
  17. Darklands - Blood For Cain

  21. Awesome news. Glad his epic trip is almost over, still can't believe that Geoff has done this.....
