slowpoke, we saw you on Sunday after the Cresta at the garage getting coffee... looked like someone rode over your legs... you had tyre/grease marks everywhere... what happened?

Oh yeah I forgot about that... darn it... now it's tougher than I thought... Maye 808's with a 6m valve? If I'm gonna go BIG I might as well do it properly and go all the way?... even maybe get two disc wheels for the back and front... do they make front ones?

So you either get 1 set of ZIPP 404's or 12 Pro Lite sets??? Hmmm tough decision... With the ZIPPS you will look the part and all pro... With the Pro Lite's you'll have a team car following you with the other 11 sets you purchased and still look pro...hmm tough decision... which one? Then again, to do a 100km race you might use all 12 sets and have to replace them for the next race. I dunno, what's the quality like on these wheels? At 2,2kg's I reckon IRON is pretty tough... sheesh this is tougher than I thought... Nah ZIPPS!

Dankie Meneer... Nou weet ek hoekom die ouens EPO vat . Om 3 weke 150+ km's te doen is net siek. Dit was beslis nie n LSD nie. Wel hang af hoe jy LSD define... LONG SUPERFAST DISTANCE. My average was 31kph. Maar die culprets is daai klein mannetjie PHEN en ook daai moerse GROOT BUL LEVI en dan kry jy vir EPOH wat net nie kan op hou nie... attack sy eie bloody shadow op hekpoort of enige iets wat lyk soos n klim... maar nou ja...

I forgot to add the route... just to confirm... Leaving from Brooklyn Circle, out on to the toll road, up Saartjiesnek, Dis-Chem route, back on to the toll road and home. It's about 180km's. It's a nice warm up and then we will do the ride for the day to Lesotho and back. Just kidding! See you chaps!

OK... so the plans for tomorrow. 1. Leaving at 07:00 sharp, so try and get there at about 06:30 - 06:45 so we can just sort ourseleves... I know epoh likes to do his nails and the make-up thing before a ride. 2. Bring your own energy bars, half loaf, bunny chow or whatever gives and replaces your lost energy. Also your drinks, make sure you have enough. I think we might stop a long the way just to top up etc. 3. Spare tubes and epoh bring a backup bike... we know how it is when you ride, Cruxie basically rebuilds your whole bike every time we ride...ehehe. Also sun tan lotion cause this time Mrs. Cruxie will not be there to look after us . 4. Rules for the day... The chics may only cycle in bikini's. This is a new law that was passed last night. I'm still looking for the URL but will post it once I get it . 5. I dunno if I've left anything out, but bring lots of FUN with. While averaging 35-40 kph we also want to enjoy ourselves .
