Paid 18 March Last reply from Thea on 5 April - that is when she gave me the second phine number that is now answered by the dodgy oke.

Well, I wish I could say the same - here is a quick low down: I see the ad and reply that I will take the crank arms. I ask if I can pay when I collect the following week - Thea agrees. I cannot make it the following week so I go to the bank and deposit the funds. I pm to get a phone number - dont get round to collecting. I pm again to get the phone number forgetting that I already have the number, I am given a different number. I try to call Thea to arrange collection, one number keeps saying the subscriber you have dialled is not available, the other is answered by a Nigerian fellow. I send Thea a pm to find out what is going on - no reply. I pm the next day - no reply. What now?

I agree on the wheelsize, these guys have to ride the flavour of the month, how else are thy gonna sell the new wheel sizes - sure if you gave Buys the option he would have been on a 29er!

hi Guys, Tank you for all the feedback - so I took the fork in for a service today, I will keep an eye on it and worse case scenario replace the crown and stancions if it wears again too quickly.

What tape did you use? Remove all the tape from the rim and replace with proper rim tape - like Stans, the problem is that the rim is too deep - the proper rim tape makes the rim shallower, hence easier to seat. I also feel safer with a proper conversion, costs a bit more bit still a lot cheaper than having a broken jaw fixed!

Would the same apply to rollers? Or are rollers not as heavy on the tyres?

Hi, I am in Centurion but work allover Gauteng - I do not know what BB it is - but here are pictures of the current BB and the one that used to be fitted to the frame - sorry a bit dumb on the technical side still!
