  1. I don't own a gravel bike so if this is on all of them I do apologise for the dumb question, But what are the 2 bolts for on the top tube? Another bottle cage? Special touring type/Gravel top tube bag?
  2. At the sportive the bunches were too big, So they spilt the bunches up basically just by a marshall walking in the middle splitting the bunch up "evenly" where he saw fit. So if you were racing hoping to better your seeding and all the faster guys were in the first split and you in the last split, It would be proper tough to get back to their bunch especially if they set off fast.
  3. Spot on. At WT races you don't see Caleb Ewan sprinting to the finish line and then the next day they say he was relegated to 10th because 9 other riders rolled over the line 15secs after him at the start so their times are faster.
  4. Impey is out of the Olympic games, Not enough time to recover from his crash he had. Replacement to be announced soon.
  5. I'm expecting to see atleast 3 ontop of Chappies this weekend, Even those with different colourways, which will include those lovely wheels but on Novatec hubs and Centaur groupset, Frame bought separately ofcourse.
  6. I'll wait for someone to sell one on Bikehub for less than 100k, "ridden once, brand new, Mint condition, Too small, ordered wrong size, Too expensive to ship back, Selling to make some money back"
  7. What an absolute Mulett he is...
  8. Yeah I also seem to have moved up 1 position to a "podium spot" because I can only assume I rolled over the start mat after the guy who was before me, If the decide to DQ to lady on the Ebike, then I move up 1 more spot LOL
  9. The only thing that peeved me off was the fact that i passed about 3 people on Ebikes also racing, And 1 female passed us up Hells as if we were all on rollers. Oh and the fact that at 75km/h on the Hellshoogte descent I was having to brake behind cars going over the speedbumps because there was no Marshall with us and we were the leading bunch of our group.
  10. Biggest standouts for me were Qhubeka-Assos. They almost never had a team before the season started, they have the lowest budget, they seemed like they were only able to hold onto a few riders and the new signings were all guys who never really had anywhere else to go. When all teams had their pre-season training camps in Jan and new kit etc, the Q-A team were still all over the show, their new kit only came toward the end of Jan, team training camps was only in Feb, with all of this I think everybody expected them basically just to make up the numbers but they really did go above and beyond expectations. Lets hope they can continue this form into Le Tour and the Vuelta.
  11. And they're giving these away in a competition, Tried to enter but the same old "This competition is not available in your Country" message pops up. I mean they could've let us enter, If i had won I could've had it sent to someone in UK and don't the rest from my side.
  12. Didn't know that Team Bike Exchange GM was a South African chap by the name of Mr Brent Copeland. Great to see for SA Cycling that we have people doing well on the Grand Tours even if it's not the riders. Geez SA cycling really has so much to offer actually.
  13. ☝️This and leave a yukkie brown mark along the braking surface. Although so did my yellow swiss stop pads actually.????
  14. Still believe that any current SA Champ should go without a doubt!! Feel it for Haley.
  15. Wasn't aware, I just thought those brown cork looking brake pads were the generic cheapies. I have a brand new set at home somewhere.
  16. Pretty sure the swiss stop will be 100% fine, Just like Zipp blocks too. These are top brands and aren't generic, Just don't use those cork pads and you'll be fine. The swiss stop are carbon specific and used all over the WT teams(well when they still rode rim brakes) and will work 100%
  17. Wear full Lycra, take your peak off your helmet, shave your legs, make sure your shades arms are OVER your helmet straps, wear your socks at calve height. For everything else, there's your LBS LOL.
  18. Docket has probably already "gone missing" and in it's place is a empty streetwise 2 cardboard box.
  19. Same images were used during lockdown for a scam on Marketplace too.
  20. Going to try something quick ????
  21. Correct. The picture is most likely not even the said person and the name is probably bogus too. If SAPS were really interested they could go after the person I'm sure, But they probably "too busy".
  22. Not quite the oil rig worker(Admin please move my comment to another thread if there is 1), But my mate randomly received this message on Monday evening on whatsapp. The minute he replied with a few laughing faces and a few funny words telling him to try scam someone else , the PP had disappeared and he was blocked. The PP was initially of a Policeman. The message was typed so poorly I laughed at that more than anything else.
  23. Speaking for yourself and Marc?
  24. With 1 broken arm. Only danger are the snakes, Check the Puffy Encounters thread????
