  1. To throw a spanner in the works here, Perhaps log into Sufferfest or google the Sufferfest 4dp test. I'm sure you can mimic it out on the road, But I know of coaches who look at the 4dp values more closely than Ftp values. Again though, for the 4dp test your build up needs to be spot on in order to gain maximum benefit.
  2. too much of a downhill to put out constant power before turning.. But as stated above, Starting somewhere near misty cliffs and heading towards the gate is a good option. I also believe if you want to get a true indicator of your Ftp, Your build up to the day needs to be correct and your warm up on the day. I don't believe you'll get a true indication of your Ftp if your legs are perhaps too fresh or too fatigued, Also not if you going to cycle say an hour or so to the point where you're going to conduct your Ftp..
  3. and that ladies and gentlemen is a HATRICK
  4. Cheaper than a few standard range Assos jerseys LOL
  5. Or is it not possibly a mixture of the 2, Maybe Cavs isn't what he was but at the same time the newer younger riders coming through who weren't around when Cav was dominating are now just that extra bit stronger with all their training and science which has evolved over the past few years?
  6. If she was using PEDS for her regrowth of muscle, her own mental health just to be able to get out and ride again, her depression etc then so be it as those conditions cannot be taken lightly because I know of people who have taken their own lives due to the above, but when she started riding again, knowing full well she was on PEDS she should then not have entered the racing ladies Category. She could've still ridden, maybe in the open seeded Categories, but not in the racing categories where there is prize money involved and then still accepted the prize money, That right there is the cheating. Yes maybe she wanted to be competitive and all, but she knew that she had taken illegal substances and still went and raced for the top honours and thus gets no sympathy from me for her ban!
  7. My Point is PPA still support him! They are a cycling body who promote junior riders, send riders to Europe etc but at the same time they support an ex doper? I'm not saying he should be punished forever no, But a sports body like PPA perhaps should be supporting elsewhere.
  8. He now owns a bike shop who stock mainly the brand another very well known doper used to ride aswell. Oh and don't forget, his bike shop is supported weekly by PPA as that is where they host their post ride coffees.
  9. This..... Fully agree... Philipsen is a proper bike rider and sprinter for sure amd has been in some decent form of late.
  10. It's an old cliché I know, But he can only really beat who is infront of him.
  11. Great win in the 2nd T20I, Very convincing too. Lets see if we take any momentum into the next game. Still bleak that Verreynne never made the cut, Definitely deserved a spot.
  12. Me thinks not
  13. And he wins today again!!!
  14. Correct, Our commissaire mentioned it 1000 times before the race and then when the race started not even 2kms in, the guys are all over the road and the commissaire does nothing. Start making an example of a few and the rest will start to tow the line.
  15. Great win for United. On another note, Jesse Ligaard is absolutely flying for the hammers. I've seen loads of fans calling for him to be signed on a permanent deal but Ole says he will re-join the squad at the end of the season.
  16. This.... There aren't full road closures, we know that from the start, So if you on the right side of the white line you should be DQ'd, End of!!
  17. I say make them aware, even if they aren't willing to rectify their mistake, atleast the owners of said LBS will now know to keep an eye out for shoddy workmanship. If you don't bring it to their attention atleast, then the next customer may not be as lucky as you were with your incident and could end up with a damaged bike aswell as medical bills because the mechanics think they've done a good enough job as you haven't returned. Just my opinion. Oh ya and Customer service customer service customer service, or take them to court for poor customer service Sorry, it is Friday after all.
  18. And now 170/5 with Verreynne and Klaasen at the crease, The last recognised batsmen really with Andile in next.
  19. 50 up for Janneman... This kid is special...
  20. United vs Totts this weekend. Feels like forever since Totts ran riot at Old Trafford.
  21. After they were 205/1... Our most economical bowlers were Markram and Maharaj and just under 5rpo. Sipamla, Smuts and Andile fetched leather today... Janneman is looking good at the top of the order though, Markram and Smuts now gone. Tough task ahead for SA with the bat with not much experience to lean on in the middle order throughout the middle overs which I feel is where we may lose it or give ourselves a chance. Hopefully Temba plays a fantastic cool headed captains knock and bats through because we don't have too many big hitters lower down, but currently at a required rate of 7rpo which will only increase during the middle overs, I hope we can pull it off.
  22. I think after the past weekends comprehensive 3-0 win against Arsenal who may not be the greatest but they are still Arsenal, the bookies may have felt that Pool would end the season well after the International break, And i guess also because Pool are just a completely different kettle of fish in the UCL.. Edit: Favourites vs Madrid though, In Spain? Naah that's just silly.
