On a side note, How awesome is it to follow the La Liga currently. Atletico 66 Barcelona 65 Real Madrid 63 All after 29 games with just 9 games to go and with Real Madrid facing Barcelona this weekend and still to face Sevilla who are in 4th and just beat Atletico the past weekend, and Barcelona still to play Atletico Madrid in 1 of the last few weekends of the season, it's surely one of the better finishes to the La Liga in a long time.

And Klopp "complained" about the venue. I don't understand when there is no crowd because the atmosphere is no different and the field is regulation size.

Yeah just seen the line-up now. Hopefully we can pull off an upset and the new boys stand up, because on paper, we aren't getting close.

So will be interesting to see how deep the squad is and if they can pull off an "upset" in todays 3rd ODI. No De Kock, Radaba, Ngidi, Nortje or Miller. That is 5 players who are experienced and playing well at the moment out of the deciding match. One must feel for Bavuma in his 1st ODI series as Captain to lose 5 crucial players ahead of the deciding match of the series. On another note it's a good chance for the likes of Janneman Malan (who should come in for Quinny) and Kyle Verreynne (For Miller) to show off their International ability again. On the bowling front, we are most likely to see Sipamla in action again and well the other spots are up to the coaching staff I guess with Hendricks, Magala and Dala all possibilities.

Soooooooooooo, Last Night at the weekly Tue night Killarney track ride, The PPA Chairman announced that they have penciled down the 10/10/2021 for the CTCT. Followed by the usual "PPA members get 1st priority" and then also that the race will be capped to only 15 000 entrants. So for those who trained hard, start training hard again LOL *Wonder if those who paid to do it virtually can say they've already paid for the 2021 event or will also get preference .

Grand Parade 6:30, Pull through. Our group are going to take it very easy, prob average 26-28km/h max, We will be stopping to take pics etc which is something we don't usually get to do on race day. We will most likely follow the same route which Savage did and go via Main Rd, right up Klipper, left into Newlands Avenue and straight over M3 into Rhodes Dr till the top of the Nek, down the Nek, All the way down Spaanschemat over the M3 down to Lakeside Main Rd and right for the rest of the CTCT route. Feel free to tag along if you not looking for a sub 3

Yeah was glad to see you guys go up Rhodes and leave out the illegal section. The Rhodes part we may just incorporate into our ride on Sunday to get some added elevation and distance as apposed to going all the way down the main road.

You Sir are Correct. Perhaps I should have been clearer so my Bad. We are heading down Main Rd from the parade So it is essentially only Cycle Tour route from Lakeside. I myself am someone who got quite upset at the fact that some guys chose to ride the full route including the N2 and m3 which they are all well aware is illegal, But the "don't tell me what I can and can't do" attitude is in full force as I saw on Strava this past weekend. With cyclists already having a bad reputation on the roads, the selfish few are not doing the rest of us any favours.

Ok so now that all the premature rides are all done LOL, is anyone else actually doing full route this Sunday 14/03 starting at the Grand Parade? So far with our training bunch we are about 8 guys confirmed.

Funny but genuine story. At the start chute at last years Cycle Tour a mate who was seeded in the very early buynches went into the Portaloo to do his business and his phone fell out of his pocket and into the Portaloo, He then had to try and recover said phone and missed his start bunch and a few after that. He will never hear the end of it either that's for sure.
