  8. Burry around 15 th place now. Just saw another crash. Some guys pushing their bikes on the technical sections. Is a 29 er the better choice for this race?

  13. after everyday of racing try to get a leg and neck massage. Take a cold shower after and go to bed early. Remember to rehydrate after each stage. You will be fine. Just remeber, when your brain tells you that you are done and the pain in the legs is unbearable, you still can do 35 to 45 k's.
  14. Thnx for the sites touringza, I can't seem to find brake pads at the bmx site. Under brakes/pads i see only 2 items, and not brake pads. Will check my local midas at 8. Cheers
  15. Hi there hubbers, can someone point me into a direction as to where I can find an online store that sells RavX cork brake pads or Kool Stop brake pads. None at CWC or Buycycle. Cheers Joe
  16. Hi Lloyd, nice blunt in your avatar. Wave looks like Nile special? I think your kung fu is spot on. The other thing about building up a bike and upgrading parts is you get a sense of being more into your steed. I am much more sentimental about a bike that I upgraded than those I bought and sold. You also learn how components work and helps with servicing it yourself. My 2c worth.
  17. (This is said tongue in cheek) Not to be vane but I have a v shaped upper body, like Arnie Swazzerneger. Girls just dig me, but not the strap. The bastard doesn't wanna stay put. Can't tighten it anymore. Maybe it is to big, but I don't think so.
  18. Hi there guys, maybe I am disfigured I don't know, but my heart rate strap keeps sagging down when I get out of the sadle when I start climbing. I did tighten it, but when I start to sweat it sags and I lose my heart rate reading. Anybody else with the same problem? I did a search and seems like nobody has ever had this problem. Has anybody changed theirs so that you have a strap going over your shoulders keeping it in place? Cheers Joe
  19. Oi, you going for looks you pornstar you. I only need to finish, I'll start with looks but will propably lose it near the 150km mark
  20. Hi there guys, I would like to know what wheelset are you going to use for the Coronation DC,deep sections or lighter wheels, tubbies or clinchers? Cheers Joe
  21. I just want to know why JFK was shot????? Yeah that Collonel guy do love Contador, a shame he left 'cause of a little fight over rolemodels. I heard Lance is having another baby? 5th if I'm right. With whom is he having the baby? I think he smokes after sex
  22. Here she is in full glory
  23. Different things make people tick. I don't care about the weight of my dual susp mtb, because I don't compete, or not yet, in mtbing. I bought a second hand Fuji Marseile pro and love to upgrade. Upgrading is sort of a hobby. I think most of the mtbikers don't understand the "How much does it weigh" q. I bet if you serch you will see that most roadies ask this q about rd bikes. As I said, I love competing, and if I didn't compete against better times I would have given up cycling years ago. So, if the "How much does it weigh" q bugs you, read the first word and the last of the sentence it it might just bug you 60% less. Cheers
