I think quite a few car designs will change by the time testing/racing starts. These have been livery launches for sure but the designs will change. Cards are being held very tightly to chests.....

As an avid gamer for many, many years but then having left it completely 2 or 3 years ago I have recently really tried to get back into it but just cannot. Yes I have changed platform, from PS4 to PC, and also don't have all of the peripherals I used to have to make the experience way more engaging. It feels like my priorities have changed, and while I have been happy in the past to enjoy my "wasted" time, it leaves me feeling quite guilty now. Am I the only one?

Should be interesting. See he is testing with the WSBK boys at Portimao, but on Michelin MotoAmerica rubber. Surprised by the move tbh, I would have thought a WSBK move could be done. This seems like 2 or 3 steps down the ladder. Must be why Herrin has been relegated to the SSP class on a Ducati V2.

The new Fenix 7 goes north of R20k....... These are becoming very expensive and understand and sympathiza with the OP, but thats electronics for you. One lasts 15yrs and the next breaks just out of warranty. It's just one of those things I suppose. I suppose it could be worse, you sell you perfectly working 2nd hand watch and 2 weeks later it packs up. As the seller you sold it voetstoets so what happens in that scenario??

I learnt too late that you dress for the fall and not for the ride. Quick nip out on short sleeves and no gloves are often the worst. And don't think a slow speed fall is nothing, they are often the worst!!

I am often called out for being the guy at the braai drinking coffee but I absolutely refuse to drive after drinking. More so as I have a wife and kids whose lives are in my hands when doing so. I am in the minority in my experience, have seen many climb into cars with their families plastered. It is a mentality, and starts with you as many have said. Quickly nipping over the yellow light because you are in a hurry, or using a stop sign as a yield, etc. The small things snowball and when other see it they follow suit. Herd mentality.......

Funny, in his interview he is very much on the fence on whether he will do it or not. Who knows......

The biggest thing I took from the interview was how little time he had on the bike before the race. Add in an injury, he should get another go in 2023.
