Eben from West Rand is great, a mate used him and I used Complete Cyclist this year and they were amazing. To be honest the peace of mind aspect is worth every cent, Complete Cyclist guys met me on the finish line every day and took my bike from me. They then delivered the bike to the bike park cleaned, serviced and 100% ready to ride. The thought of sitting out in the dark and the rain trying to service my own bike after an eight hour day does not sound like fun to me.

That first climb at Suikerbosrand would be a winner I reckon. Parking and facilities right there. Nice and quiet so very little traffic to deal with.

Short, Fast, Windy. Great training. Lots of fun. The route this year looks different this year as they have moved the start finish area to Meyerton and not at the SBR reserve as it was last year.

My choice is: Water. or Game (for longer rides) Bananas Peanut butter and syrup sarmies (for longer rides) Gu's for racing.

It actually flattens out a bit at the top so call it 4.1km and much the same total ascent.
