Not only that, the member may be frustrated by the lack of respect that other riders display but that certainly does not condone his threats, its the antithesis of club promotion. Imagine the trail builders at Le Gets Mainline take that attitude! Those braking bumps are left to become doubles!!!!!🤣

JA, well no fine! Firstly, the trails are open to anyone willing to pay regardless of skill levels....whilst roosting and drifting into corners is not particularly good MTB etiquette, it is part of the sport...I don't recall having to pass any sort of skills test before riding there... Secondly, if true, these comments are outside their constitution guidelines which actually also provide guidelines for dealing with members bringing the name of the club into dis-repute, however, since one of the elements of the constitution has been apparently flagrantly dis-regarded, with apparent committee endorsement, is there any hope that the disciplinary guidelines will be applied? Lastly, I dunno...boggles the mind that this type of statement in this day and age would be publicly circulated in a club memo!* Let's wait for the Club's response before lighting torches...I do enjoy riding there! I don't get this newsletter...but what would I have to do to warrant a "PK"???...said "PK" better be legally defensible...(doubtful but lets hear it!!)

Yeah, definitely not on.... They will have to re-write their Disciplinary code... If the Subcommittee for Discipline finds the accused member guilty of an infringement as charged, it may – warn the member; impose a fine not exceeding R5 000.00 (Five Thousand Rand) on the member; suspend the member for a period not exceeding six months; or, recommend to the Management Committee that the member should be expelled from the Club. 😎 New amendment: "Dish out PK's as and when"

Whilst the course may not have been true "gravel", I did enjoy the coverage, that dude who rode the bike following the breakaway bunch had some tricky riding to do, not to mention the camera-man who did a great job over his shoulder!!! I see big opportunities for lightweight stabilisation rigs for these bike-mounted TV cameras tho! Looking forward to the Mens later
